I remember watching a reverse isekai anime 10 years ago.

It's about a demon lord that came from the fantasy world to the real world, and he started working in the McDonalds.

It's funny, have cool action, but it's really cliche.

The anime women ranged from cringe inducing waifu to badass knight lady waifu (?)

The MC lives with a handsome demon man (ikemen) that acts as his maid, and a cute demon gamer boy. [Probably Fujobait]

Back then I really enjoyed this crap, but nowadays I'd never bother watching it, I'm not big in harems anymore, heck right now I barely watch anime because of Isekai saturation.

Go for it OP, but I'm not sure that Isekai (reverse or not) will stand out in the sea of isekai that we have right now.

Good luck!

Thank for this, really.

And you're absolutely right that we have way too much Isekai right now, and it is getting quite predictable at this point.

I see an advantage in it though. If done right--which I don't know if I could--it might stand out among the rest. Although it might not get as popular, I still enjoy writing it!

Thank you again for the response.

Not a fan of reverse isekai (few exceptions when people return to their own world after being isekaid). Don't like real life/office life settings in general few exceptions.

Still wish you the best of luck.

The protagonist is trying to go back to his world using science which he hasn't even heard of until he got isekaid. This is the first novel I have ever written... and I truly underestimated how hard it is to express feelings and thoughts through a personality that's not my own. It makes me admire my favorite authors more.

You're welcome.

In that case, please give it a try, I watched a few isekais like that back in 2016~2018 and they're cool af, I REALLY liked their vibe.
