Nobody has cracked the perfect update schedule yet, but there are benefits to either one of your options. If you post more frequently, your series will show up on 'Fresh' more often, meaning you might get more exposure. If you post longer updates, it might help with the flow of your story (this part really depends; does it even make sense to chop it up into bits that small?)
With posting more often, you might end up having to draw more often in order to maintain your schedule if you begin falling behind. Or, it might be easier because one session of drawing could last you through a week, since you can schedule updates.
But remember that no matter what you choose, there will be people that complain that episodes are too short, or that updates are too infrequent. You can't please everybody, so choose the schedule that works best for you as a creator.
