What does your username mean?

Blackfoxross is my username on Tapas. At the time I felt like the black sheep of the family and I liked foxes plus my my nickname is Rossy so there you go XD.

As for my username for the forums, I was going to start a YouTube channel for cut out animations. It was going to be called Alliascompany because everyone involved was supposed to have an alias. On top of that I has accidentally added misspelled alias but decided to keep it that way. When I joined I put in alliascompany as a placeholder but ended up keeping it for the forums

My username is a combination of two usernames I used to have on various websites.

Ani: animemaniac25779 (YouTube), AnimeFanatic223 (fanfiction.net), AnimeFanatic02 (DeviantArt), etc.

Hime: orihime20 (Gaiaonline and various other websites); it also means 'princess' in Japanese. ^^

I excluded the numbers because I want to use 'Anihime' as my pen name. Thankfully, the name wasn't already taken on this site. XD

I started using Rhonder for almost everything online back in... 2008 or so, when I went to start playing a MMO called La Tale with my friends, and my prior go-to, Raguna, was already taken. Raguna was the name of the main character in my big ol' fantasy story at the time, so I had used that name as an alias for a few years. Rhonder, on the other hand, was the name of the main rival in the same story and seemed like a somewhat more unusual name? So I tried it and it was available so that's what I went with. Then from then on, I started just using it everywhere because Raguna was always hit or miss for being available, where as Rhonder almost always was.

Now granted, where I actually came up with Rhonder in the first place I have no idea anymore lol. Raguna was the default name of the Rune Factory 1 protagonist so that's where that one came from. I thought I had made up Rhonder, but I think it's also like a real name? Maybe? Dunno. But yeah!

My current ID is a pen name: Ivan Skilling.

For me, it was a matter of choosing a pen name that would fit the genre (thrillers and science fiction) and my book material (Also had to choose a male-sounding name which is not my gender! ). I think I went through a couple of iterations and googled each pen name to see whether someone already had it. In the end, I think someone did have this name but they weren't famous. So I settled with it.

I considered using some of the cool nicknames some people gave me in highschool, but one was used as a hotel brand and the other was hard to translate to english, so i just took the simple route and used my actual name.

My username comes from the fact that I have very Pagan/Norse interests and tendencies. Hel is a Norse goddess of death and a couple other things. Hel Be Praised is just the idea of praying to or praising the goddess Hel.

All my usernames used to be Liu XiaXue coming off my chinese name 刘夏雪.

The Gem part of my name are my real initials and Pompadour is a reference to the famous french mistress. I love 18th century fashion and art, and since my comic is based on that era (with demons and technology tossed into the mixture) I thought Pompadour complemented my initials well. It's also the name of a rad hairstyle so that's cool too.

Given that I've wanted to change my birth name for personal reasons, Harley really stuck to me. and there be my username together :> TenguHarley
