Finally started laying down the work on the ramen joint on my island; looks pretty nice so far...

Also moved my 2nd pond to the right side of my island; shuffled my picnic areas down a bit to make room for the new additions...

Just waiting on MORE items for the ramen joint that I ordered-now that I figured out customizing the simple panels for walls to use in this project, I'll be adding few each day until I get the desired effect that I want. I wish I could've customized and added table cloths or placemats for the tables; also wish I could use rugs on the custom flooring...will be using [customized] zen pillows for the seating. I experimented with the zen pillows customizing my kotatsu cloth and pillow seating in my kitchen.

I just got the game Critters for Sale
I've been playing a chapter each day before I go to work
It's a really fascinating game, idk how to explain it other than it feels like an adult swim show.
and the soundtrack is just :weary::ok_hand:

I got really into Wildermyth is a tactical RPG rogue-like with a heavy emphasis on a procedural narrative created by your choices and the personal traits of your characters. Is pretty cool, plus it has the perfect magic system for a Tactical RPG, one based on positioning and resources.

still playing hades and acnh but i was checking out game demos and there's this point and click style murder mystery game called tangle tower they had in the switch eshop. even though the demo's short it's really interesting where interacting with the environment can help you find clues and things and then there puzzles and other things scattered about. the dialouge seems really fun as well and for something that was probably about 10-15 minutes worth of play i'm pretty fond or at least very interested in one of the main characters sally spears. i can't get the full version now (maybe my bday next month) but it's gone onto the wishlist with a handful of other games

I've been slowing down on Monster Hunter Rise because I have a lot of farming to do to make end-game weapons but it's still a ton of fun.
I started playing Chivalry 2 on PS4 and in the four days I've had it it's crashed three times, probably the most a game has ever done that to me on Playstation so I dunno wtf is up with that. Entertaining but I guess my connection to their servers isn't great. I'm not very good at hand-to-hand yet (you know, the whole point of the game) but I'm a total dick with a crossbow though. :smiling_imp:
In ACNH news: RNGesus answered my prayers yesterday and Admiral asked me if he should move off of my island and I almost screamed in relief. We've been trying to get that green asshole to leave for MONTHS. We didn't choose to let him move in, the game picked him out for us after someone else moved out. He's packing up today but he left me with this chilling parting message...:

There has been this one game that I been trying for years to find and play. And I FINALLY found a way to play it. It's called Stay Tooned! and it is really weird and unfortunately very obscure. The only reason I know what it is it appeared as a trailer on a copy of Math Blaster Algebra. It must have been like 15 years searching for it, and I guess I am happy that I finally experienced it.

I also played Sim Town recently out of curiosity due to being a fan of the Sim City games. It is not good.

Mainly steam games:

Phasmophobia (i get nightmares so i play with my frens)
Team Fortress 2
Rimworld (best community building game out there, you cannot convince me otherwise. It's like the Sims 4 meets Animal Crossing but add aliens and guns and death and lost limbs and taking care of your community)
Ark Survival Evolved (just bought it because it was on sale but I can't play it with my weak laptop)
Don't Starve Together 2 (this game makes me mad)

Minecraft (because that's my childhood)
Sims 4
Roblox (but only the rhythm games because those or fun)
Friday Night Funkin' (I can only play on easy mode lmao)

I also have Gmod but that's for my bby bro.

Yeah, if a villager leaves you're instantly ON THE CLOCK to find someone else before Nook moves in someone of his choice. A fam member of mine is complaining coz they kinda dragged their feet about finding another villager for their isle and Nook filled that spot with a castaway I let go from my island :joy:

In other ACNH "this villager irks my nerves" news, I built a water fountain and put it near the square...in me prepping the area one of mine just kept being annoying af, just being all in my way. The minute I sit down the water fountain, this dude runs to it like folks have been making him live without drinking anything; I so wanted to beat him mercilessly with the net.

chess.
...and i m like a total disaster.

playing around in acnh and made some small cosmetic additions to the island

this ones my favorite~

also it turns out that adding fringes to blankets/towels can make them look 100x cooler and cozier (at least imo)

i've also finally come to accept my addiction to custom design clothing (i just got this one to go with my frugal hat)

plus i will finally be able to make my orchard complete! had to remove a lot of the filler items i put in there but it's gonna look super nice when it's done. i've got a few more changes i'm hoping to make to fully flesh out some areas of the island but once it's all done i'll be updating my dream address and sharing it again.

i'm also giving turnips a shot this week to get some extra bells in the bank so here's hoping i dont mess that up...i wanna use them to expand the other houses i've put on the island

I thought about putting something on my dock/pier but I use it to fish- a LOT...plus I sometimes go cannonballing off it into the ocean to swim & catch fish.

Currently looking at stepping stones to line the ground of the hedge maze with; I saw a design that I liked a few weeks back but cant remember where I saw it at- if it was on my iPad or on the desktop at the day gig. I'm also trying not to go overboard and do too much custom design stuff...I wish someone would make outside custom flooring that doesnt come up when you accidently kick with the Y button.

@VibrantFox I took a break on turnips this week; I'm starting to wanna wring necks for their shitty disposition...it's like if you get over a certain amount(200), they start really being crappy/tightwad with the daily prices. How do you encourage someone to play the stalk market AND discourage them with crap-ass pricing at the same time? Only a few times(3) have they surprised me & put me over with a really good price(the latest- 625 bells per turnip like two weeks ago); the rest of the time it's a [paltry- for me] range between 115-130 bells...not the best, especially if you've paid 100 bells or more per turnip.

I havent done custom design clothing yet. I havent seen anything yet that I feel like "I gotta have this".

You know what that blanket with the guitar could use? A cherry blossom picnic basket...

Almost done with the ramen joint, had to move some parts around coz I inadvertently made it where it was difficult to sit on one side of 2 tables; the result- it looks a little more cluttered, but I did my best to balance that clutter. Got one more simple panel to add, some red floor lights, and I'll be finished.

So far they've been better getting me a variety of summer wear than they did with winter.

trying to dip my toes back into splatoon 2 but im loathing every second of it. i think more than anything just missing how easy and fun battles were when i was like...level 20 as opposed to now at level 90 whatever. the squidbagging, spawn camping and overall just brutality is making it...not fun so i'm likely to strike it of my play list which sucks because i do like the game but my rule is if it's not bringing joy and just making me mad it's gotta be set aside.

i would be playing hades or acnh but i think i've gotten a little bored with both of them and i've pretty much done all the stuff in botw save for some of the more frivolous side quests (the monster guys mini boss challenge for example). it'll be a...while before i can get new stuff but man i'm hoping i can find something to play when i'm not up to art n comics stuff :weary:

Gonna try to do some of the Switch online downloads of some old SNES games. Very hyped to wanna play DK Country & DKC 2; also wanna play Zelda: Link to the Past as I havent played since the 90s...and Yoshi's Island.

Finally finished the ramen joint- unfortunately there isnt enough space to put the neon "We're Open" sign and the balloons I saved from Festivale. I'll figure something; I still got the confetti machines(2) and I want to incorporate those as well.

Also spruced up some other areas of my island on Sunday; moved the Giant Robot and Monster statues to the back rock platforms...then I put the pirate paraphenalia on the right side of the island and the outdoor rock bath on the left.

Still trying to find the perfect stepping stones...

Sky: Children of the Light finally became available on the switch so I've been playing it since yesterday and it's so pretty~

I don't know what I'm doing most of the time but flying around and looking at all the colorful shiny stuff has been putting a smile on my face plus the occasional interactions w other players. But the whole thing is almost dreamlike flying through clouds and restoring spirits. I don't think I'll be able to get even half the cosmetics it seems to have but it doesn't matter because I'm just having fun soaking in all the animated prettyness
