Portal series is become mine!!! They finally dropped the companion series on switch and i literally bought a eshop card to buy the games yesterday and started playing today (been waiting for the moment for Years)

i figured for continuities sake i would play em in order but I'm honestly getting a lil bored but i also know that just part of thw ramping things up slowly in understanding aperture and gladoa and etc its just i want the sas from 2 so im like doin my best (sucks tho since i only have after work to play which isn't really that much time) but the mechanics are easy to pick up on and im having fun wrecking her cameras 🤣

Anybody played Crystal Project? Its an indie RPG on steam.

My brother gifted me a copy since he really liked it and knew I was interested--Its heavily inspired by Final Fantasy games, except it has a HUGE emphasis on switching job classes and character growth. FF3/5 are some of my favorite FFs because I love the job system so this game really hits the high notes for me.

officially beat portal a couple days ago which felt pretty great and now i'm (slowly) moving onto portal 2 (currently navigating the old labs). consistently reminded of how different an experience it is just watching playthroughs versus actually playing the game yourself but it's fun working out these puzzles

also finally got fall guys to work at some point so whenever i'm up for mindless fun i just kinda jump in and goof about till i'm bored

the big thing tho is the start of season of shattering in sky and i literally held of spending just to get the pass for this one. it's funny coz before i'd figured out how shard spawnig worked or how to find the locations it was just like "huh the apocalypse is kinda boring" to "nevermind i take it back" upon seeing it firsthand. the biggest thing i'm noticing aside from what beta players have explained about different shard events having diferent rewards+ difficulty is that it seems like even location kind of plays into the survival curve, coz when i was doing the wasteland shard event at forgotten ark on launch day i was getting blasted left and right and i'm pretty sure might've even lost some WL versus today in the prarie caves and it was like nothing. i even realized the difference in the crabs where big/difficult shard events have the eden shard crabs which don't fall over with big call and will knock you out way harder than regular dark crabs and then like plain crabs that totally fall over and the minute they do just stop being a problem

the most interesting thing i think has been realizing that it's better to avoid aggro-ing crabs on your own if you can and instead using people's shared memories because they will chase them and if you must try not to do it around other players. like whenever i saw somene getting jumped i'd try to lure the crabs from them and get em far away so that someone can help that player and then get back to cleansing the darkness plants. and it's literally like playing chicken where you're luring em out by honking and pissin em off then getting them to run at you and getting them as far as is possible

i guess thats why it was fair of folks to assume it'd be tough at times for solo players versus ppl with friends coz even tho the main tasks themselves aren't that difficult the dodging, distracting, avoiding being crushed to death by fragments of the heart of eden are a lil more challenging without help and people there to watch your back (and i mean the games given audio cues and clues help but there's only so much audio visual info you can take in)

Both!
Co-Op with 2 additional players!
Missions based with a complex combat.
There's a lengthy demo available for you to try!

Train Valley 2. The soundtrack is very nice, the gameplay is interesting enough and doesn't involve violence for once, it's very relaxing in the beginning and gets more challenging later on.
All in all, probably would recommend.

Okay so how about that Multiversus, huh? I played Nick All-Star Brawl so, suffice to say, I had low expectations. That game was mega oof. But I got a beta key to Multiversus and it's like...Not a bad smash clone! And it has a ton of really enjoyable context-sensitive voice lines, specific to characters they're currently fighting. I'm kinda getting way more into it than I thought I would, but we'll see if I stick with it.

Destiny and only Destiny cause I'm a filthy crayon munching sadist with no life

I most recently beat Nier Automata and Disco Elysium, both really great games.
I would go on to play Nier Replicant, but I'm focusing on my comic at the moment.

sky and portal 2 been in an infinite loop of restarting the latter just coz i'm having fun and i like hanging out with wheatley, also fun seeing how much better i get a solving certain puzzles/test chambers (makes me feel clever)

sky has been mostly dailies and trying to get those shards (especially for the ascended candles red shards reward) kind of fell off during the ddos attack they had but since it's resolution it's just been a matter of trying to keep up

tbh been tough keeping up with games what with work so it's like...an hour or two before i conk out and go to bed if at all but god i really wanna get back into animal crossing too. i'm literally ready to just flatten my island and build up from scratch but then it's like....the amount of bells it'd take to do so is DX and i definitely don't have to time to grind and earn a bunch either so i'm just sat daydreaming about it but not really doing anything

Hell yeah, Disco Elysium is a great game! I honestly didn't feel so engaged by any other game, and the fight somehow felt more tense than most combat-heavy RPGs.

I recently played Omori, ticket to ride, South park: stick of truth and South park: the fractured but whole xD By the way, anyone who has played Omori on switch and on steam, is the hikikomori route worth playing? I read it was going to have new content but I don't know if it's worth buying the game again on switch to play the hikikomori route (I only played the true ending one)

I also played Rune factory 5 but got bored really fast, anyone know if it gets better? I didn't advance much, probably after the first festival and after unlocking the barn. I'd appreciate any reasons to motivate me to go back to play XD Mostly my issue with is, that it's like too empty, the monster areas just feel deserted u_u

Hm there's this discord server that organizes animal crossing treasure islands so, if you're interested you could get the flowers you want over one of them :eyebrows:

lots of sky and fall guys, sky especially. i've been too busy or too tired to properly keep up with shard events but i've popped in where i can to do dailies since i really wanna get some of this seasons cosmetics and managed to catch some of the anniversary performances held in office (the halloween spirits were my fave <3). feeling lucky since i've actually got almost enough candles for the TS that's just arrived (aiming to get the xylophone) so as long as no other big event things are happening i should be able to snag that (kinda sad i couldnt get the office cape during the 3rd anni event tho)

also FINALLY beat portal 2!! the wheatley battle was harder than i'd expected (at least before i'd figured out the attack patterns n stuff). it's really a different experience watching something in a playthrough versus doing it yourself but it's felt rewarding as hell with this even if i flubbed a few things throughout but failing's a part of the process n all that

i realize now i dont really have any other linear/story based games after this but my sights are set on splatoon 3 for now (sonic frontiers is also something i'm looking forward to but there's still time before that comes out)

Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster, Fall Guys, and Stranger of Paradise.

I been stuck at home with not much to do, so my sister lent me the Link's Awakening remake. It's an OK port, but I still prefer the GBC version.

I have been also playing some Splatoon 2 and Fall Guys.

I´ll go back to minecraft or red dead
