What Good Thing Happened Today?

I lost my job to Corona back in May, today I have finally been offered an internship at two different game companies. I'm about to loose my mind over which one to pick, but I am so happy !

Got in 3 of the 4 polo style shirts I ordered...the first order(that contains two) I threw on my bed as I was leaving for work; I wont be able to open/see those until I get home...the 2nd order contained one shirt(I had to snag it from my PO Box), and it looks nice! The third package(4th shirt) is on track to arrive by Friday.

This year is rough. If I can reward myself to remind myself that I'm going a good job navigating through, then...

I got my resume polished today so after a relatively bad week, that's a good thing. I found out on Monday that the company I've worked for for 15 years is going out of business at the end of the month due to a combo of COVID shutdowns hurting finances and my bosses health decline (i think if not for COVID they would've had more time to get one of their kids to take over the company to keep things going) so I was a little panicked. But I'm feeling pretty good about this incarnation of my resume so here's hoping I get some nibbles as I start to send the feelers out.

I got my first Ink today, so I'm grateful for that. I started back on a dating app again and I've got lots of matches. I know it sounds silly but when you swipe right on a super attractive person and they liked your profile back, MAJOR confidence boost.

So... A good thing happened. But I am so torn???

Last week I received an internship at one company. And it was approved yesterday.
HOWEVER, today I just got an offer for a Gameplay Programmer job. At least according to Swedish laws, I HAVE to accept a job offer over an internship. Said job is one I've waited for, for months. So I'm so happy, but kinda sad that I won't be able to stay at the internship for long ...

Got in my new microwave today...had my previous one for 8 yrs; the buttons started dying off one by one, so it was time. Found one that had the same power/stats for about the same price, so I'm happy.

I got some nice cake and food for today.

But I spent today just gaming and sleeping. It was peaceful.
