What if I made an another series with the same characters?

I made a series that is a comic strip, or maybe short strips.
But when I reviewed on my past sketches and plots from my series, I think I need to make another series with a different plot but with the same characters.
I don't know how to do this. My series was supposed to be a page-by-page-with-a-prologue-thingy from the start, because my series' plot always change and it might not understand other readers, and I think my series fits being a fantasy comic than being a slice-of-life comic.
I don't know how to do this...

Do you mean a series with the same characters (as in same name, personality and physique) or just re-using character designs?
If its the latter well that's basically Tezuka's star system

Well umm.. So like what kind of series do you wanna do? Action? Drama?
Remember certain art-styles fit different stories better, I dont want to self promote but you can check my 3 series and ser how different I try to draw my characters depending ok the series.
S.elf being a cómic intended for young audiences has shonen style, so does Pulta though with more fan-service while Dr. Pom is a gag cómic so the drawings are a little different..

From what I have seen of your art it definetly fits the gag a day, even adventure (like the cómic bone or Oops ) but I would have a heard time reading mystery/romance/drama/horror with your style, if you plan to do any of those you should imo modify the style.

Are you talking about rebooting your story and remaking it into a different genre?

I don't think I understand your reasons? Not saying I disagree with them; I literally don't know what you mean. ^^; Are you saying your story was supposed to follow a certain format/genre, but it ended up turning into something completely different? So you want to scrap that and start from scratch and make a comic (with the same characters) that actually fits the intended format/genre?

And don't forget that fantasy and slice of life aren't mutually exclusive.

In that case, go for it. Life is short, and there's no point in spending your time on a project that you are no longer happy to work on. The only thing I'd say is try to lay out your plans a bit more thoroughly this time, though, so you won't be having the same thoughts ("man, this isn't what I wanted to do at all... should I start from scratch again?") later.

Like, are you unsure whether to delete your existing series, or what? What kind of specific questions do you have?

Anyway you already have some subs in tour cómic, shouldnt you continue it or finish it for respecto of them?

If I were you I'd just continue writting Penventor and maybe making arcs or stuff, afterall after looking at some pages it seems like your cómic is about gag-a-day random comics, putting some arcs in the middle wont hurt I think

But I think I needed to reboot it f-for s-specific reasons:
1. Before I made a series about this. About almost a year ago, I made sketches of this on paper. It wasn't specifically inventions yet, but it wasn't really supposed to be a strip.
2. The biggest mistake I had is because I made this as a strip because a lot of people do it on Tapastic, and I think that page-by-page-with-a-prologue-thingy comics are just for comic creators who are professional.
3. It was really supposed to be a page-by-page-with-a-prologue-thingy from the start but I was forced to make a strip myself so I'm not very happy with it.
4. I'm a very serious person, and I'm not used in making gags.

Ahhh, I get ya.

Well, I stand by what I said earlier: go for it! Just make a new series by clicking on that "new series" menu. You don't even need to delete your existing series; just add a "this series is over; please check out this other series where you can follow the characters' new story" type of a footnote to your first and last episodes, and click on the notify readers option so that your existing readers will know what happened to your comic.

Oh and i'll add one more thing what @keii4ii said:

Don't be nervous about your style, from what i can see, you're still fresh from drawing, and if you're envy to X or Y's style, use that envy as a inspiration, improvement takes while per se ^^

And don't worry, no one will say "you're drawing sucks!" except for your RL friends, or relatives, because that's how world works :v
(some of my RL friends says that my style is "ugly" but i just brush it off because it's a pointless and useless criticism)

When I see other Tapastic Creators who are so popular, they are the most ones who has the "slice-of-life" or "comedy" comics.
So I said "What? I think this site only deserves comics that has comedy and slice-of-life! I don't know if I could just quit making pages and just make a gag strip."

I was wrong, I'm so frustrated. I overthinked, and I'm out of ideas anymore. "I'm just really proud when my character isn't just ordinary" like I did in the past sketches I've made several months ago.
