What is a good site for generating AI images?

I've seen people post pics of AI images that are absolutely beautiful, but some of the online AI generators that I've used just didn't do the job I was expecting. What AI generators do you use?

None, because all the ones currently available have been trained with data collected all over the web (including some medical records!) without even asking for consent of owners/creators of those works/documents/images.

Plus I prefer creating myself than clicking "randomize" on a character creator...

Some people are using DALL-E which is a paid service.

I would be careful of using DALL-E, mostly because there has been issues about where they are sourcing the images. I also heard that not all generated images come out looking good, which can be frustrating for a paid service.

I'm not using AI to create stuff for tapas or webtoons, just so you know.

I'd assume so since that's against the site's rules (at least here on tapas, not sure about webtoon)
Don't know about you but the moral aspect is enough for me not to touch current generators even to mess around with them...

While you found beautiful generated images, it's still hard to make AI to do exactly what you want of them. It doesn't mean people who posted the pictures were completely satisfied with them too, since it's mostly random, but it's not like they have much choice.
Midjourney has a few free uses (like 10 or so) and then you have to pay like 50$ a month I think? Still most likely you will have trouble generating something very particular that you may have on your mind, AI are still not too good at this.

If what you mean is in anime-ish style then the one that may be is Novel AI. But that one is already well known for using as database works from Pixiv and Gelbooru with no consent of the original artists but I believe is yet another paid site.

Personally, even if it's for fun or use as inspiration, I'll rather avoid them since again, works of other people are being used without their consent and being altered.

You just have to generate hundreds and hundreds of images until the image generating slot machine gives you a prize.

In my experience it's pretty easy to get pretty-looking results but not if you're also aiming for (expecting) something in particular. I wouldn't assume the beautiful images others post has some specific intent behind them; my guess is they just posted the first thing that looks good

(Though I've heard that some people end up using super long-ass prompts that look like an eldritch incantation or smth and got their results that way, but I haven't been bothered trying anything like that myself XD)

I would advise not using them until legal stuff is being cleared up. Many AI generators are currently being sued for illegally scraping copyrighted works, and seeing as most AI generators require payment now, I wouldn't want you to waste your money on stuff like that nor fund something that could be judged to be illegal in its current form.
