Well I am penguin lover and loved the information, so tell me how they react.

My research involved human world... and i think i might get reported, flagged or muted if i type them out here without filter...
Everything about child abuse especially female children, around the world that is still happening today. :expressionless:

Generally speaking: human nature - in itself it's one hell of a contradiction, on one hand complex & unpredictable, but on the other terrifyingly easy to manipulate.

To sum it up, I found it pretty disturbing how "the way to hell is paved with good intentions" is a literal discription of how things usually tend to turn out.

(But penguins of all things, I would've never expected to be like that... That's terrifying .3.")

I was looking up some outfit ideas for a character and one of the outfits shares its name with a skin disorder. Babies with this disorder are born with no skin, and google images decided to show me some of them.

cw:
considering that my stories about csa and how it affects people; I've researched some shit I've never wanted to see-
Stuff from cartel human trafficking to how a child celebrities day by day goes
Found out Aaron Carter was raped repeatedly and no one cared, a lot of people told him he shouldn't lie, that one just makes me angry ad there's a whole rabbit hole with that one I won't get into or it'll just be an angry rant.
and that's on the lighter end of the stuff I've learned about
I'm not gonna mention the others cause theyre really fucked up

What a disturbing amount of time and effort is to create clothes if you don't have industrialization.
It's also disturbing how you can actually make really high quality stuff even like that.

Luna's tribe is making bank!

Not counting anything with actual cadavers, learning about bed sores was definitely the roughest.
Text hidden for medical grossness of both the ethical and corporeal variety

Summary

So bed sores come from extended pressure on one part of the body, usually for patients who spend a lot of time in bed. They're most common on elderly people with fragile skin, and, once they develop, can be fatal. Like... 75% mortality rate fatal. But here's what makes them horrific

First, they are some of the more upsetting injuries to see. I won't post pictures, but plenty of people shared loved ones with wound inches across. They look like somebody look an icecream scoop to their body and then let it rot.

Second, they're completely preventable by just turning patients regularly, yet they kill 60,000 people in the US alone. At best, they're the result of a fragile body and an understaffed medical group. At worst, they can be considered horrific neglect.

Just the idea of being unable to move myself and feeling my bodypainfully rotting away, and then knowing this experience is actually a common way to die is... whoof. Also, it's very hard to research them without seeing a lot of photos. I can deal with fictional gore, but real gore gets me.

Summary

One story in particular, after a town tortured and burned the man alive, they sold pieces of his charred flesh as souvenirs. This happened so recently that some of the people who did this are still alive.

Not a whole lot unless you consider the human species to be generally disturbing.

The most disturbing I've learned, and I already had a vague idea of it beforehand, was:

Uncomfortable genital discussion

Visibly intersex babies usually being put through genital mutilation surgery at birth, normally causing dysphoria as they get older, as well as causing distress if they learn what happened to them as infants.
There are cases where parents are decent human beings, and allow their babies to stay as they are so the kid can figure stuff out when they're old enough, but it's apparently a rarity since doctors also push for the surgery.
