What is the most important thing to you while making your comic?

The most important thing, for me, is growth. I already enjoy the work and the process.. but I want to grow in many ways such as in storytelling, artistic value, and production speed.

My goal is to create comics that would give my readers the same feeling as what the comic that inspired me to create, gave me, which was a sense of awe and inspiration. I want to create a comic where each panel is appreciated rather than quickly scrolled over without much thought... a comic with a story and art that won't be quickly forgotten.

I'm still far from my goals but I'll get there.

Your art style is detailed and likebale, what is your comic about?

Production speed is something I lack in xD Perfectionist in me won't allow me to move onto the next panel, although I loosed up a bit I still have ways to go in finding the right balance.

Since I started working on a comic I noticed that I spend more time on detailed panels than before.
When I didn't draw as much I would look at amazingly drawn panels for a while for sure but not as long as now

Entertainment / fun is the only important thing for me when I´m making a comic
because I make it for myself.

Growth and getting better at drawing is really important for me but I focus on that
when I´m training. I dedicated today´s training to the greater trochanter which is a part
of the femur (upper leg bone). I don´t think about things like that when I´m creating a comic,
I try to only focus on writing and drawing then

A lot of things

Everything is consistent

The characters are consistent

Emotional scenes

The humor slaps

Never mush silly with serious

The dialogue isn’t clunky

For me, I have a story I’m working towards that is personally meaningful, and I’m excited to share it — but I also like the escapism of making a comic. When I’m drawing jungles and caves for my critters to run around in, it feels like I’m exploring the wilderness myself. It’s a lot of fun to just get lost and forget where I am for a little while.

Currently with my comic, it's making it funny, and improving my art through the process. I made the comic to help me get better at drawing, so pushing myself to improve is a big part of it.

I'm telling a good, entertaining story and it looks good doing it. Nothing much else matters.

Relationships matter, caring about the characters matters, it is a good thing to escape with matters, good dialogue matters.

You as the writer enjoying it matters, making it with passion matters, historical research matters (in my case)

Everything matters.

For me it’s about having fun while creating my comic content and making people smile, laugh, and just enjoy themselves when they look at my art and jokes. So… yeah! I guess that’s just about it. Keep up the good work! @all ️

For now it is to to don't do the same mistakes with my new comic which led me a huge burn out.
Make people to symphatize or hate my characters, and to forget their life and problems for a moment while reading my works. For me stories (no matter it is a book, movie or comic) are a safe place, and when I read/see a good story, I always feel that I want someone to feel the same for my story.

I got 3 core things:

1) Telling an entertaining story, or at least the way I want to tell it.

2) Keeping it going despite flaws, rough patches, self-loathing and burnouts.

3) Learning to love the process over the product.

As far as achievements go, I just want to finish this story to the end and learn as much as I can for my next big project. It'll be a few years, but I know it's worth it.

I agree with your first note about enjoying it and having fun!

My comic has a deaf main character, so as a hearing person I'd say the #1 important thing for me is accuracy and respect. I've done a lot of research and I always welcome feedback from deaf readers to make sure everything's accurate!
