What is the name of the app you use to draw?

I see all the talent here, and it makes me miss the time when I used to draw too.
Do you have any tips? I have an Android tablet.

I mainly use Clip Studio Paint(CSP) (PC) and Procreate (iPad) for drawing.

Procreate's brushes are truly amazing, but it can only run on iOS.

But I reccomend you Clip studio paint.

If you have a tablet, Procreate is so convenient!

I use CSP on a huion tablet and PC, but if you're starting out you can try some free programs like Medibang. It has enough features to get you used to digital art and a simple interface that's easy to get the hang of. You also get some cloud storage space to save your work.

I always come back Autodesk Sketchbook.
It´s free, easy to use, the interface and the tools are
perfect for me. It is very easy to set up and adjust to
your needs.

Update on CSP, I take everything back which I said before,
I finally got it working and now I love the app too

Back in the olden days lol. MS Paint and a mouse.
Then did Photoshop and a Wacom tablet for over a decade, but once I found Manga Studio later renamed to Clip Studio Paint I switched over. Photoshop was slowing me down, did not have what I needed for manga nor the illustrations look and feel I wanted. Like dragging a clunky piece of metal around. It also a RAM hog.
Switched over and Clip Studio Paint lets me quickly go from storyboard, raw, line to render. I love the asset store, much of it is free. I found brushes for sfx, motion lines, bubbles, magic, pencil, pen, guache,etc. Super easy to raw sketch.
The new versions that come out yearly with new features is a big help too for animation, manga, illustration, time-lapse, importing 3D and Photoshop files. Adding sound to the animations. Plus more.
The UI reminds me of Photoshops set up so didn't take long to figure out. Can do animation and huge full size illustration files with no lag or slowing of my computer.
Its used in the actual anime and manga industry for creating anime people watch even.

I also use it for making business logos and graphics for clients with its 'vector' tool. I just true vector with one click once imported into Illustrator.

ibisPaint X on my phone is what I use. Just my stylus and my phone and a vector pen is all I need. I have been thinking about getting my own tablet to draw my comics on. But I suppose I like my phone better because of convenience

Krita is available on Android and it is free, that is my preferred drawing software on my tablet since it is also what I use on my computer.
A warning: the app is clearly not made with a touch screen in mind, and I would recommend using a pressure sensitive pen if your tablet is compatible with one.

But now and then i use Photoshop to.
And after that i use Indesign for creating the chapter as a book and a web pdf.
Most of my brainstorm sketching are done with simple pencil and paper.

Before I use Autodesk I am looking at procreate from faster art making but I have to completely relearn a new app!

I use Krita on a convertible laptop running Luinux (I know it's a meme at this point). Ive used Autodesk sketchbook and procreate on iPad and it's nice but I'm addicted to the flexibility of Krita. not to mention I started painting digitally first, so when I bought procreate and started using it i was very confused by the lack of digital brushes.

But I am thinking of giving into my laziness and going back to Clip Studio and letting it hide my shortcomings as an artist.

I put out the money to get the ad free version.

It simple but works perfectly for my needs.
