Natino's circle is a famous several thousand year old graph that explains the usage of the four types of magic that anything, living, dead, or nonliving can use.

Each quadrant represents a type of magic, Soul/Soulflow, Mana/intelligence, Undefined, and Fel. As long as whatever is using the magic has the necessary things to use the magic, anything can technically be a āmage.ā For example, there is an item in the original game called a āMagical Water Bucketā which is an infinite water bucket that never runs out. According to this chart, the water bucket would technically be a mage that is using Undefined magic, despite never being alive.
The colors behind each rune representing each type of magic represents compatibility. One thing/being can never use two āpurpleā types of magic, or two āorangeā types. This is simply because they are powered by opposing things.
The first type of magic, on the top left, is soul magic or soulflow. Soul magic is powered by the user's soul and made more powerful through emotion. (Stronger emotion = Stronger soul magic.) Soulflow is the least versatile out of the four types, but once mastered, it is very powerful and effective. The most well-known and powerful soulflow-using beings are endermen. They use soul magic to communicate and to teleport.
Next, on the bottom right, is Fel magic. Fel magic is the magic of the dead and the counterpart of Soul magic. This is because to use it, you must corrupt/wither your soul, which will either turn you into an undead, kill you, or have other strange effects. Fel magic is similar to Undefined magic in that it has very little limitations except for the corruption of a soul. Fel magic is used by Kaeman, Necron, the Voidgloom Seraph, and wither skeletons.
Then, on the top right, is mana/intelligence magic. Mana magic is powered by the brain, and as the name suggests, more intelligence will = stronger mana magic. Mana magic is the magic most used by humans and is incredibly versatile. In some cases, humans have found a way to channel other types of magic into vessels, and then using mana magic to activate those vessels and practically use Fel and Soulflow magic.
Lastly, on the bottom left, is undefined magic. Undefined magic is the most strange and mysterious magic type, and is the counterpart to mana magic. This is because Mana magic is based on intelligence and logic. However, Undefined magic is based on spontaneity and illogicalness. Sometimes, things will just kind of happen with no explanation, and those things happen because of Undefined magic. Undefined magic is the most versatile magic type, yet even the masters of Undefined have trouble explaining how they do it or how it works.
