What is the WORST movie you've ever seen?

Worst movie I've seen in a long time, has to be "Look Who's Back". It's just a movie about Hitler magically waking up in modern Germany, hilarity is supposed to ensue.

Sadly -- very sadly -- Sister Act 2 occupies that place of dubious distinction in my life. And I've seen a lot of movies. The first and only film I've ever walked out on and asked for a refund was the craptacular X-Men: Days of Future Past, but superhero movies are a special kind of garbage that sometimes can be a guilty pleasure. That one wasn't. But judging films and not just adaptations of other media, Sister Act 2 has to stand head and shoulders above all challengers.

It's probably not worse than most of the other bad films I've seen, but at the time it was especially excruciating to get through. The original Sister Act had a whole lot of charm, and this is speaking as someone who isn't a fan of organized religion. The first movie had excellent casting, a workable premise, and very strong performances in a feel-good film that didn't take itself more seriously than it needed to.

Sister Act 2, we all thought, would be a pleasant "more of the same" that just took the winning formula and applied it again. Oh how wrong we were. It was an inexplicable, incomprehensible slog that tossed out a chunk of the cast from the original film, had no legitimate logical flow for repeating the premise after the first film's story, and was just an unfortunate series of cameos from the original movie's characters in a narrative no longer about them. Instead, it was a flimsy try at inner-city angst from some of the least charismatic or likable teenagers that ever populated a script.

I'm sorry. I know I've gone on forever here, but sitting through Sister Act 2 felt like it was Berlin Alexanderplatz. I have never watched it again, and I've never wanted to. It has become my gauge for how much fun I'm not having. If I find myself thinking "I'd rather watch Sister Act 2 than do this," then I know I need to take a step back and think about doing something else.

The movie "El club de los incomprendidos" thanks to Netflix >_>, it's a Spaniard one with teenage drama, actually the story was almost ok, but the movie ... I keep watching it until the end hoping it would get better, it didn't. I feel like I couldn't connect with any of the characters.

The worst part for me it's when the main protagonist tell to her ex girl friend you are sick, you are crazy! let us help you. Yeah right...cause that's the thing you should say to someone with mental problems >_>.

And also "Killer Klowns from Outer Space", actually the movie was good, I just hate horror, but I was in a bus without wi fi not many options, and I couldn''t eat cotton candy for a week lol.

Man of Steel. Unforgivable. I laughed out loud when Superman's dad intentionally runs into the tornado. Why anyone would make Superman a gritty, edgy, grimdark character and literally suck the color out of the visuals I will never understand. It worked with Batman because Batman has all these dark elements to his character, you can't apply the same formula to the ultimate American ubermench good boy. Besides being a completely over melodramatic and joyless experience, it was also littered with logical problems; he can barely bring himself to sacrifice one family at the end of the film and yet we just watched 20 horrible minutes of him exploding through every building in the city, which doubtlessly killed tens of thousands. WHY.

Thankfully the Russo Bros would come along one year later and show audiences how you make a boy scout of a superhero interesting in Captain America: The Winter Soldier without sacrificing what makes them them

That's a good point actually, they did a good job with Cap. That's the way you gotta deal with a character like that, he was still himself despite the dark look and feel of the movie.

Recently I've watched Storks which felt just like another bland pandering kids movie executives had to crap out to make some money. The only memorable thing in it were the wolves. Maybe if they focused on what they did with the wolves and applied it to the rest of the film it might've been passable.

Also the universe of storks creeps me out. They could've made a joke for the parents to laugh at hinting sex is the only other way to make babies besides storks but they made it clear there were multiple ways to make children and it's never brought up again, ever. There could be billions of ways to artificially make children and it's never looked into. It could've been a joke, it was the only interesting plot point of this train wreck.
That and the babies had neon hair which is never explained much like the rest of this movie.

While I didn't hate the film, there is something about Storks which just didn't settle well. The whole world seems so empty. Also I am very anti stork myth and pro just being honest with kids. And I feel a film like this will just complicate things.

The 5th Wave is an awful "wanna be Hunger Games" YA cheaply produced film. The MC is some dumb teen who tho she is "roughing" it, she always looks very clean and her hair looks WAY to styled and shampooed. The love interest "alien" is more creepy than charming. I will give the film some credit for not having the two boys in the love triangle brawl it out. Loser boy doesn't seem too upset when she picks the other guy.

I usually have a high tolerance for most movies. Most bad movies I've seen are usually soo bad they're good but these two are both contenders for the worst movie I've ever seen.

It's a pretentious movie that I keep trying to understand but make no sense to me.

DREN:
Dumb scientists doing dumb things that could have been a very interesting take on Frankenstein if it wasn't for the last 30 minutes of the movie.

I've reviewed far too many pieces of amateur garbage that are no fun to kick, so I'll only consider movies with talent and a budget behind them. But the most epic stinker I can recall is The Avengers. No, not Marvel's The Avengers. I mean the ridiculously nonsensical movie with Sean Connery in a pink bear suit that was a horrid version of the British pulp series.

I've yet to see M. Night Shamathon's Avatar though...his movies tend to be visually competent even when otherwise atrocious.

For me, a bad movie is something that's just plain boring. A bad movie so stupid that it's hilarious is the best kind of comedy, so to me Troll 2 is not at all a bad movie, neither is any twilight (other than the third one, there was a couple of funny moments but the rest was just some angsty camping trip in the woods). So movies that I consider bad are probably like a 3-4/10 on someone else's scale.

The worst that comes to mind is the recent critically acclaimed horror western The Bone Tomahawk
It wasn't scary, didn't have an interesting consept and was so goddamn racist ,literally the only black character is killed off in the first ten minutes just so a POC character can say "They don't eat the n-words because they think they are poisonous". That line literally doesn't come into play at any point. It's just there. They don't kill any other black character (because that one liner character was the only one), none of the protagonists are black. Also the antagonists are cave-dwelling native americans & all main characters and heroes are white men + a white damsel in distress. Like I'm caucasian but even with my nazi-orgasm worthy blue eyes I can see that this shit is so fucking racist. Like don't get me wrong, it's supposed to be set in the wild west, but it's all pointless & blatant.

Also the movie is incredibly sexist. Like I get prostitutes and homey ladies when it's the wild west, but having some deep web creepypasta rape dolls is on a whole another level. And like with the racism, it's completely pointless, there is literally one two second shot of two heavily pregnant women lying on a table with their limbs cut off & wooden stakes hammered into their eyes. And, despite killing every single of the male tribe members, the protagonist just walks past them. Like out of every character I think we can agree that those two fucking deserved a mercy killing. But he just leaves them there like "lol I guess you'll dehydrate to death, bye"

(Another recent shitfest was We are still Here, but the repetition & how all story relevant lines were given to one side character was pretty funny & the ends explosions of blood and gore were pretty funny too)
