I kind of have to lump all my works into the slice of life category, but I don't feel any of them fit snugly into that category. Days in a Life is kind of slice of life, but it's pertaining specifically to the aftermath of a major historical event.
Tiger on the Storm feels like slice of life because it's the direct adaptation of the main character's war journal, and of course it, being a war journal, would also pertain to major historical events.
Probably one "slice of life" work that fits the least comfortably in that category is The Real Women of the US Military: The WASP. It shows snippets of a lot of people's lives as well as the huge historical events in which they're involved. I really only put it in slice of life because there don't seem to be many options for non-fiction comics. And that's what I consider my works - historical or military nonfiction.
