My process is kinda similar to yours! Especially with the sketching process I go through lol.
I first begin with thumbnailing where I go in with like... elementary school level super fast doodles to figure out the panel layout & # of panels (or if doing vertical scroll, just # of panels. I usually do page format though).
When I go in to actually do the sketch in each panel I do the same where I'll do 1 or maybe even 2 or 3 "rouch sketches" layered over one another- usually I do better getting poses or details looking right when I go at it with a thick sloppy brush rather than trying to be precise right away. Then I'll do a final "clean sketch" on top. That's the one I eventually ink.
After that it's all coloring and effects- I do a flat sweep, having the characters and background on separate layers, then I'll do all the shading on 1 single one, speech bubbles on a layer and the white fill on a separate layer under that. I hand draw all of my sound effects, and I'll do a highlights pass to add shine to metals and other reflective surfaces.
My latest comics that I've been doing for a DND campaign I'm in I've been doing kinda fast and sloppily, but they still give a good look at the final result. This was the most recent one xD
(the 2nd to last panel needs to have the dialogue edited a bit because I realized after the fact that it doesn't make sense in context lol)
