My favorite part is just to see it all come together. Once I’ve uploaded a new episode, I’ll read my comic as if it’s my first time looking at it and I’m just filled with joy that I’ve come so far! Reading it, makes me feel motivated to keep going and make more!

So what is your favorite part?

And here are my 2 comics:

An ongoing fantasy comic involving angels and demons

A short drama/slice of life-ish comic, made for the global comic awards

Storyboarding. It's the fastest way for me to get the idea out of my head, and even though it's rushed and drawings are blah, the concept and idea come through and at least to me it's fun to see it beginning to unfold into something real.

Probably my most favorite parts are getting a page finished and posted, hitting scene milestones, as well as finishing volumes. I was super happy when I was able to print the first volume! Generally seeing progress is nice, seeing this thing that's been floating in my head become a physical story on paper is so satisfying, almost surreal. I'll be beside myself when I someday finish the whole thing and have all three volumes printed out.

It’s hard to pick just one favorite moment of the comic making process but I’d say creating the illustrations for the final draft.
It’s been really cool to come up with the initial idea, make a script, storyboard, then see it come to life in the comic book itself. Makes the characters feel real!

Drawing/writing it, definitely. Being able to just get sucked in to my own world, and not having to worry about what's happening around me. Just me, my story, and the podcasts that I listen to.

I can agree that the best is when I can read a page or chapter. I also like when I'm afraid of not being able to draw well a scene, and I succeed with it  And I know it is only at the planning phase, but I love planning my characters. How they look like, their names, motivations, everything

Mine is 100% when you get an idea and the pages just flow out. It's like as you write just more and more comes out! Plus I love seeing the story all completed and finishing arcs!

My favorite part is finding out where the story will go and how things would turn out. It's the feeling of the characters writing the story on their own :))

Synopsis:

Twelve years ago, Azure Skylar, the Knight of the Cross of the unparalleled syndicate, the Chapel, was favored by the Pope himself to work on a mission that would determine the fate of their entire group against their growing rival, the Empire.

Twelve years ago, Azure met Caramella Red Aberdeign and found a friend in her. For once, he knew rest, quiet, peace, and comfort. Little did he know that Caramella Red was also the infamous Sweet Crimson, the ace assassin of their growing rival, the Empire.

A mistake, a wrong decision, a missed opportunity, all wrapped in the same regret that led to the ink on paper weeping about all that should have been said and done before time came and went. A story inspired by Taylor Swift's Evermore, Letter Addressed to the Fire will take you to a trip down the star-crossed soulmates' memory lane and tell you about all that was only whispered in the wind twelve years ago.

I love the coloring and rendering stage! This is when I get to breath life into my pages and play around with all kinds of techniques. So much fun.
