What is your favourite manga character?

My favourite ... It's a tough choice. I think I adore Allen from D.gray-man and maybe Yoruichi from Bleach.

I would have to go with Ajimu Najami(left) and Misogi Kumagawa(right) from Medaka Box. It's almost impossible to pick one over the other because they're practically the same character.

He's aloof, pragmatic. He helps people and mushi, but it's not like he's overly enthusiastic or positive about it. And just because he helps doesn't mean he isn't one to complain or low-key judge the people he's helping either lol.

my favorite character from any manga would be netero from hunter x hunter, stating that humanity will always find a way to evolve and that our malice is something to not take lightly as well as the infinite potential for evolutionary progress which says much no matter if its black, grey, white, evil, or good. Humanity is a god figure in this Oroboro.

probably Miyamoto Musashi from Vagabond.
has one of the best written character arcs i've seen in a manga.

imagine ur typical manga protag motivation, “i wanna be stronger” or “i wanna be the best.” Now imagine someone actually pursuing that, give them real world consequences, make them wonder if what they're pursuing is really worth it? Make them meet people who also want to walk that path, what they're welling to do.

its the saddest and richest growth I've seen in a character.

I have many beloved Anime characters that make it really hard to choose who is my favorite.
However, I recently started rewatching ‘Welcome to the N.H.K.’ and I just remembered how much I liked the main character Satou Tatsuhiro.

Not because he’s handsome, charming or anything like that (if you know the series you know that would be not an accurate description of him )
I like him because I truly get him. He’s so unbelievably well written and his character is so full of different sides and aspects, yet he never breaks character.
But, he’s also so relatable for me personally, which makes him even more important to me.

I saw ‘welcome to the N.H.K.’ the first time in 2012/2013 and, due to language barrier, I hardly understood most if the context. But even back then I saw him as an impressive main lead.
I guess because he’s not some flashy shonen jump hero, or bishonen dream prince, I kinda forgot about him.
But due to rewatching the show, I’m just falling in love with his character over and over again ^///^
