Hands are tough. You're better than some already, keep pushing and you have a very good chance at becoming the artist you want to be it takes effort and passion most of all, but the farther you go, the easier it gets.

As much as I'd always love reaching bigger audiences, my goal is to flesh out the stories in my head. My art doesn't have to be perfect for that, but I know the more I make pages, the more I'm gonna improve anyway (if I keep spicing it up and doing studies too!)

I just wanna write stories and show them to people- I've tried film and animation and even musical songwriting-- it's all fun and interesting as far as mediums go... but comics I can complete chapter by chapter on my own if I don't get burnout

Okay soooo, I have been thinking about this for a long while. I really do want to be a full time artist and writer. I am not really up for making a comic, as I don't see my stories as comics, they seem to work more as novels and that is what I enjoy writing anyway. However, I have sort of mapped this out.

In the next year I am hoping to grow my audience and following on social media and start to take commissions. I am hoping that I can do that and eventually start a Patreon so that I can quit my current job after the year is up.

If I am able to grow my following and I am able to make enough money through commissions and patreon to quit my job, then I plan to set up some more stuff offer that to help bring in some more income.

When I first start my patreon I plan to only offer digital stuff. So coloring pages, phone backgrounds, downloadable stuff essentially. Since I will still be working full time and won't have much time to spend sending stuff out.

Then when I am able to do it full time, I will add more teirs to my patreon that will include stickers and prints. I also want to start my own shop with stickers, prints, buttons, enamel pins, and acrylic charms.

Somewhere in all this I want to finish my book and self publish it to my audience.

So in short, my goal is really just to do this full time! I want to be able to support my family. I was always in a family that didn't have a ton of money. So to be able to provide for my family and make sure they are happy would be a dream for me. And to be able to do it while also doing what I love, it would be amazing. Hopefully it can happen soon! I have a plan on growing my account and I am really hoping it works. Wish me luck!

But in all seriousness. I wanna make stories that make people emotionally invested. I don't know how to achieve that, so I just go along with whatever comes to my mind and maybe it'll make someone feel stuff.

Depends on how big is "make it big"? I wouldnt mind being a name that people say in reference to enjoying my work, but I dont exactly wanna be big to the point where I cant go to the local supermarket. I want to create comics for as long as I can; I would love to have a number of successful Kickstarters for collected volume/trade paperbacks(and maybe some stand alone graphic novels), and for my Patreon to gain some more patrons...

Def want to have an audience for my work. I dont have any goals like turning my comics into cartoons/anime/movies; for me, being successful with my comic work is the endgame. I know I'll never be able to live solely off my art right now, so the goal is to save up money/retirement with my RL job and try to make extra money with my comics; once I get tired of working a RL job(or retire from it), then I'd spend my days making comics & other art stuffs.

My goals in art are not that huge: enjoy what I enjoy doing, and excute my ideas properly while being inspired, without letting fame get in front of my face.

Writing down episode ideas for comics (thinking of "sitcom"-like scenarios that escalates itself to be both hilarious and surprising), and thinking of ideas for my [indie] projects/games (but I'm going to be more than an idea guy) is what I'm planning to do.

In terms of my long term goals, i wish to be a freelance artist , be a content creator and open an independent studio with my friends as most of us have different skills in media of art. and for the most part i do it for fun but i do want to make a career out of it. So far the only thing that is holding me back is college. Dx gotta get them grades first. And i do want to seek to improve myself as an artist. The goal is just to dissolve myself into a cave, seeping into the rocks where I can blissfully do my thing where I can corrode then quench my try dream again with something new, I'd feel bored otherwise if I were doing one thing. I commit to the Oroboro lane that my creativity takes.

I mostly draw comics for fun, but also to get stories out of my head and share them with people. Ever since I was young I had very vivid stories in my mind, and I want to be able to share them with people as best I can! Honestly, my biggest goal I have set is to eventually get my dream comic out in the world, but I'm years away from it.

I wrote/write my comic for myself (it's mostly done), and I know it's long and all over the place, but I love it . Going back and reading my scripts is so fun, especially when I come across things I forgot I wrote and I get to experience them as an audience member. It's also fun to keep an idea log and see how many ideas I've added and even how many more I've tossed.

I draw my comic to see it come to life and to experiment with colors, because I'm new to using them digitally. Feedback (on webtoon; none here yet) regarding the art has been surprisingly positive, but readers are a little confused, so maybe I'm introducing too many mysteries at once. We'll see. Anyway I'm having fun drawing it.

I share it because why not? If I get a following, that's awesome. I would die if it went big, and I would be extremely happy for that, but I don't have any real sense of that even happening because I've only shared < 1% of the whole story. We've got a ways to go before I hope for anything real.

My goal then, is to consistently keep at it, even if it's just for me, and to not let comments and numbers make me hurt enough to give up. I hope to finish the first "season" within 2-3 years. It may take longer at my pace, but that's okay!
