We make comics for a living, but on occasion take on freelance projects. David writes for comics and magazines. Steve illustrates role-playing games.

Wow, so many people with art educated backgrounds! D: I've no education for that kind of stuff, so I'm not sure if I'm missing out or something.
I'm currently in college, learning and doing Architecture stuff (no you do not have to be an artist to be an architect contrary to what many might believe-- they don't teach you that (atleast at my school they don't)). I have 2 side jobs I work. And videogame making, makeup fx, robotics, comics, art commissions, reviews, and attempted-movies/film on the side when i have time.

When I am not writing books and comics or creating pillows and jewelry I am a mom/housewife. I am also a certified art teacher. Now that my kids are older I may go back to teaching soon.

That is incredibly cool! Art teacher that makes comics! The best around.

Thank you!
The irony is that I write it and my husband draws it, although I do help color on occasion. My husband used to be an editor. It amuses us.

We do own teachcomics.com I hope to do something with that someday.

The worst part is I'm thinking of taking on another series whistles innocently

I'm a student going to school for animation, looking to getting a storyboarding job once I'm finished. I work at a restaurant and have for the last 5 years. I also do a bit of freelance as well as my webcomic, Podunk. Once I'm done with my current freelance I'm hoping to maybe update a few extra times a month but it really depends on what school is like.

YOU CRAZY!! But seriously, your work ethic is great. I'm so lazy in comparison omigawd

I used to be a 2d animator but now I'm working for a kid's educational comic by day and Grayscale11 by night.

Much better than a lot of other people I know, including me XD!
Damn Hearthstone online TCG making me waste my free time XP!

What made you stop 2d animation?

I'm a 2d animator too but had to switch to 3D because that's what the demand is for in my area. :/

Hahahah, well don't worry though, if you're pursuing animation your free time may become a bit more precious. Most of my animation peeps literally didn't sleep through their semesters, especially 2D folks. The bags under their eyes are legendary.

It's almost the same situation here. More and more animation company switching to 3d. I still love drawing so much so i decided to drop it and try to get into the comic industry. It's a tough decision and I hope I'm making the right choice... hehehe...

I do some freelance illustration from time to time, a little graphic design here and there. I also have a day job that pays the bills for the most part.

8 days later

When I began writing the comic, I was a Tae Kwon Do instructor. Now I'm a web designer. Funny how these things turn out.

Thanks for reading my comic, Breathless10!

Love seeing the responses here...

As for us- West is a freelance illustrator, and I (Kardi) own a fairly large retail pet supply store.

Finishing a degree in Evolutionary science. I have a second interview for a job next week..........fingers crossed
