What kind of music do you hear while writing and drawing? :-)

Lyrics tend to throw me off when I'm writing; they'll influence the scene or distract me from what I'm trying to depict, so I also stick to instrumental-only pieces. The last 2 weeks, I've been enjoying the OST from the first HADES game by Supergiant Games; the Greek foundation and modern take on the game were just so impactful, and the music does a great job solidifying the game as one of my all-time favorites.

Weird Al Yankovic (yes, I like comedic music)

As you could tell, I listen to a wide variety of music while writing and drawing.

I can not listen to music when I write. That part of my brain that hears music is sort of the same part that day dreams and thinks up ideas. It's sort of like wires being crossed.

When it comes to drawing, I tend to be OK, drawing is more of a visual task. Tho I tend to prefer watching YouTube or Twitch.

Lot's of OST music from anime/T.V shows I watch (Made in Abyss sound track is best). Mainly the soft light music just to ease my mind, I haven't bought a new headset so I haven't heard music while drawing for like a year

Usually nothing while I draw, I like to have something playing on the tv instead. When I write I like listening to OSTs. Lately it's been a mix of FF15, FF16, Bungo Stray Dogs, and The Sandman. Sometimes I listen to 80's city pop playlists, so catchy!

Ooh, this is a fun question. While drawing, I put on a movie for background noise. It'll vary, based on what I'm drawing. For writing, I listen to movie soundtracks. Recently, I've been listening to this Dune mix on repeat:
