I don't listen to music much anymore, I watch movies while making comics. But when I am in a good mood I'll compose a musical theme for my comics and listen to that.

I do the same thing!
Listening to music helps me keep on track, kinda weird that silence is distracting for me.

Have a bit of a playlist. Here's one that I find myself listening to alot.

For me Twin Peaks2 soundtrack is always stellar choice. Also Air2's album for virgin suicides is excellent when making Numb1. Depending on a scene these two fit quite well for the mood smile

And I must add Bonetrousle fits your comic like a glove!

Apart from Denki Groove's "Niji" as the main theme and title song, I'd like Susumu Hirasawa to compose the soundtrack for the rest of it.

i dont really listen to music usually but i got a playlist of songs that i listen to when i draw for my comic cuz i like to imagine music videos to them. most of the songs on there are rock/indie rock or indie pop. but mostly just stuff that makes me feel all nostalgic since thats sorta what my comics all about
the MAIN songs id pick for my comic tho are
1 by joy zipper
and
tell the world by eric hutchinson

Lots of Vocaloids actually. I have a long list of songs from up beat to melancholy depending on the mood of the piece I'm working on. I find the music inspirational since it is all fan generated and there are some very cute music videos that I'll watch to get myself started in the day. I know, not everyone likes the sound of them, takes time to get used to and find the right producers.

I need music because my wife tends to be playing video games and chatting on Voice chat with our friends just across the table so I need to block i tall out or I'll be distracted by what they are doing and want to play instead of working...

I have to be honest here I play Game Grumps in the background while working on my comic.............................

I think the song I'm So Sorry by; Imagine Dragons goes best with my webcomic... whenever I am stuck on what to do next I listen to it smiley

when working on my comic I usually listen to trap music or trance. Like with most of my work, but for coloring especially trap to get it done more quickly. For some reason I think that works, but it is not based upon any science whatsoever. XD

I listen to ska music when I draw. Something about the rhythms give me ideas when drawing, plus they fit well with the mood of the comic. If you're interested, The Hippos are a perfect example of what I have in mind for background music. (My current pages have Royalty FREE Music, because all my favorite bands have preview only music on Soundcloud, which is completely understandable).

For my webcomic, Oni x Fox, I love listening to this neat piano cover of the Street Fighter 4 opening in particular! Really intense and helps me imagine the action and drama! smiley

For Soul Ascendance I have this 8tracks playlist I use as it's soundtrack. Most of the music right now is instrumental versions of Nightwish and Within Temptation songs for battle scenes.
