So when it is time to write or draw, what music helps you write or draw what you need to do?
I have (thanks to @aqua03 ) discovered there is such a thing as electro swing music!
I have never banged out scripts for Hue are you faster. It keeps me in the mindset and feel of most of the comic.
just an example.
EDM!!!!!!! I love EDM when writing. A wide variety of EDM stuff like Deadmaus, In Love With A Ghost etc.
This is a combination of different EDM stuff I listen to while writing btw
aw, I saw Idolm@ster and thought they were remixes
MeshuggahMastodonDroidDisbeliefGirls Generation
Some epic power or fantasy-metal always helps
Just some good coolio pop music
nothing better than some epic orchestral music =P makes me feel like I'm writing the next bible yo
for me it really depends - TWAW is driven by a lot of radical face, hozier, and florence and the machine mainly. i like to listen to music that fits the vibe of the scene im on, and my character and story playlists go out of date pretty rapidly as things develop.
for the most recent chapter of my comic i ended up listening to a lot of dirty computer and i think it shows
Oh, boy, that's a lot of music to think of...
Lots of video game soundtracks for sure.
Etrian Odyssey, Touhou, stuff like that. Energetic and upbeat.
I always always ALWAYS have this one on, when drawing. (Or you know, the OST for the second game. Understand understand the concept of Love, UH!)
After that I usually listen to the electro swing remixes from Musical Ghost or go over my CD collection (right now I listen to Gary Numan, Skating Polly and Vast a lot).
I'm so glad I could help you find some music that can help you!
For me, I usually like to listen to radio dramas while I work or maybe some Japanese rock music to get hype or Japanese jazz fusion if I want to hunker down for the long run.
This apparently XD
Everything that is k-pop
@aqua03 Have you checked out baby metal? You should.
@Fennecky
Yes! All things k-pop and j-pop are awesome ^_^
Yaaazzz, Babymetal are really fun. ^^
I've heard of them. Might give them a shot some times. (Not the biggest heavy metal fan, but probably wouldn't hurt.)
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I really like to listen to a lot of Nu-Metal/Metal-Core stuff, (especially remixes like the one below) They keep me really energized.
Though I'm no stranger to music that's simpler either...
They are not heavy metal. They are very different.
