What's up ya'll? I haven't been on this forum much since like 2019, so what's going on? What are things that you guys are doing creatively that are in NO WAY related to your webcomics or webnovels? Allow me to start.

I'm currently working on my own book that's like a cross between Witcher and the Western cultivation series Cradle (which is fantastic by the way) where I try to put all the progression-fantasy elements into a very western fantasy world with specifically Welsh influences. I also thought it was a good idea in addition to the hard magic system to make the monster hunting part more scientific with monsters having taxonomic names, specific poultices and poisons that need to be brewed to kill them or treat wounds endured by them-- that kind of thing. There's nothing really like that, all books including monster hunting have only a small bit of it delegated to that (Witcher or Dresden Files both of which are fantastic) or have some sort of really boring solution to defeating the monster so they can focus on the romance (Anita Blake- which is a horrible series) so I thought it would bring something new to the table.

Trying to advertise commissions and apply to uh...irl jobs (got an interview this tuesday)

Getting through my final year of college and recontinuing my internet presence.

I am also preparing to create my own website.

Creating episodes for my podcast, Geeking Around, we review all thing geek like, anime, comics, video games, movies, etc. Working on a light novel that later will be turn into a comic. I hope one day I can directed either animated or live-action movie or series based on my comics and maybe video games.

Working on and off on a setting and system for RPG, largely based on D&D and Pathfinder (the system, that is), and the setting I'm working off of the framework from previous campaings, in tandem with a friend that also likes storytelling. It's lots of fun, but very very grindy work.

I'm writing a visual novel with a friend and I also taught myself how to create 2d animated avatars and retexture 3D ones for use in Vtubing recently.

3 things!

  1. Drawing basic fundamentals [I wanna be the one to draw my own stories]
  2. Leveling up my cooking skills [I'm LEVEL 1 y'all!]
  3. Acquiring Korean language through Hangul [Quite a challenge because I need English media more for my novel and comic script writing but I know that acquiring this language is my first step to becoming a polyglot]

so yeah guys wish me luck and success all the way...

Bout to start final year of college, and working on releasing my GN King of Roo some time this year. Also, just working with a lot of different people, mostly as a Quran teacher and intern for a horse ranch.

Surviving a pandemic. Trying to find a job. Sometimes I play the ocarina. In fact I have a lot of musical instruments to play, even when I am horrible with music. I can't even read a music sheet, but that has not stopped me to learn some nice game tunes~

holyy I've heard a lot of unique jobs/hobbies from other writers on this site but I've never seen pro-wrestler. That's so cool :shook_01:

Been getting into cameras and making videos, but nothing much else as of right now. I switch hobbies like underwear, so that might change in the near future lol

Same! I was into photography years ago but the drive fades and comes so I keep my camera and whenever I have the time to hunt pictures I pick it back.

Also I am teaching in primary and secondary schools for lessons out of my field (mine is biology) like computer, pshe, now art since we are understaffed atm.

Drawing my friggin' arse off and trying to build a portfolio on ArtStation (a great website btw). It's not easy, but I gotta keep doing it.
