What OS do you guys use to make comics with?

I'm currently using Windows 8.1 on my current laptop. So far, I'm not having much problem with it. Though it took me quite a while to get used to it since my old laptop was using Windows 7. I keep hearing bad rumors from Windows 10 so I turned off automatic updates so it won't unexpectedly upgrade.

I use windows 8 because that's what my laptop came with. not windows 10. never windows 10. ive not updated my laptop in months to avoid accidentally getting windows 10

I use windows 10 because I can't afford a Mac and I use Clip Studio Paint. I really don't have the option to switch my OS unless I switch programs. Also, I play video games that I can't play on Mac and Linux.

I was told the same thing: mac, mac, mac- when I was in school. I wanted to get a mac, but after a while of working/ playing around with Photoshop & Illustrator on PC, as long as it was doing the job I needed it to do it really didnt matter which OS I used.

Clip Studio Paint is available for Mac by the way, I think you can even use the same license. But yeah, not worth it if you want to play games too! XD

I have both Windows machine and a 2015 Macbook Pro running OSX El Capitan. I use my mac to create comics simply because the colours are more accurate and my comic is colour intensive. I'm also studying concept art / illustration so it helps that I don't have to worry about viruses/BSOD/shit not working.

My Windows machine tho (Windows 10), I use for gaming. Best of both worlds.

Yes, when I switched from Mac to Windows, I could use Clip Studio on Windows with the same license. That's a super nice feature for anyone who likes to switch OS every now and then =D

Use a mac mostly because everyone says art programs run better on macs, been using them since a kid and windows have been very unreliable for me.

Windows (10) to create. iOS to read, because the iPad is the bee's knees.

Edit: As to why the Windows to create. More often than not, Window PCs have the power I need for the variety of things I want to accomplish.

i use windows 8.1 on an asus notebook. it's been pretty nice but the graphics driver does crash when it gets overloaded, and i'm running out of storage

i'm thinking of buying a macbook for my next computer but i'm really attached to SAI

Used to use ubuntu, but now I'm strictly Mac for art related work
