What resources do you use for creating your comic/novel?

I use google docs for writing. For the art I use Clip Studio Paint. I usually do the lineart traditionally and scan it in though.

So you do all your art by hand on a physical piece of paper? How do you translate it onto your PC?

After i finish drawing i scan it n on photoshop i adjust the image levels in order to get the best black and white image quality (tho in my current episodes released its not showing yet, my next one will show how clear the images are now since i perfected it there), then i do the paneling using photoshop and do the dialogue too

For my novel i have used Microsoft word to type out every chapter and use grammerly to correct any typos and grammatical errors i made. As for the program i have used for depicting art for my novel series i have used medibang pro which i love using because it's a program use draw comics and im using it to draw out my new novel cover and my characters as seen here

Though I have touched 3D such as Maya for a small time during the springtime of college and have designed this monster that will appear in my novel much later but this is what I have designed it to be.

I use FireAlpaca for my skeletons usually, simply because my decrepit computer opens it faster than my other programs, and it's what I learned on so it's easy for me to do quick and fast lines; appropriate for page skeletons I think. Nothing more than just a transparent layer and such here!

For my actual lineart, I cannot go without Clip Studio Paint. I love love love it for comic work, even though I don't even think I'm using it to it's fullest potential.

Clip Studio also takes up coloring duty when I need it to! Pretty much everything I do revolves around these two programs; I don't draw that much physically these days due to convenience and lack of practice.

For writing I just use LibreOffice lol. Occasionally I'll use notepad but it always ends up on LibreOffice. If there is too many editing tools for writing, it just weighs me down and makes me distracted. I keep a glossary of lore at the beginning of the document, and that's enough to remind me of big events and timelines and stuff.

For comic making, I use photoshop and ClipStudio. Occasionally I'll take advantage of online splicing tools and flatting tools like croppy and flatton. Sometimes if I have a weird 3d object I throw it into Blender. I also like to use Lazy Nezumi for my perspective tools--it's wonderful for doing buildings in perspective, and I like it better for smoothing than photoshop and clip but I might just be biased because I've used it so long..

I use Scrivener to script out my comic chapters.

I use Clip Studio Paint to pencil & ink my comic pages; I then toggle between Photoshop and CSP during the coloring & effects stage. I use Adobe Illustrator to letter my pages...

I do use the 3-D pose models that Clip Studio has. I'm currently trying to find a 3-D program that will allow me to quickly slap together items for background images- something easier than Blender.

For all my current scenes, I drew everything with a few references, such as photos I had taken around the city or photos on pinterest. For newer scenes though, in order to cut back on the time it took to do pages, since I draw them almost entirely alone and I am going into my senior year of college, I am now using sims 4 in order to create sets that I can extract the line art from.

It works great because I love interior design in the sims and it saves me time in the long run!

For my novel, I user Scrivener to plan it out and separate out the scenes/chapter and I use grammarly for the editing. For artwork, I use primarily Medibang Paint Pro and Design Doll

I use word mostly because I've added two editing programs onto it allowing me to streamline the editing process (Grammerly, and Pro Writing Aid to be specific).

For organization i use Campfire to organize my story, characters, and basically everything else.

Hi Fuzed. I'm doing okay. Krita has pretty neat features such as brushes that attempt to simulate traditional tools, a decent brush engine, a comic manager for comics, and an animation mode. There are still some nitpicks here and there, but overall it's a great program to use. Here's the website for more details (https://krita.org/en/).

My webcomic is made entirely from Krita and the results are pretty good.

I use a regular notebook for the thumbnails and the script. (Including story ideas and plot points)

Then I use clip studio paint pro to draw out my comics. I always use references from google for poses or other things.
I also use google maps for background references or I just go out and take some pictures.
