What Tapastic Comics do you like and why?

I am curious what are some of your favorite web comics are and why. The maxium reccomendations are up to two. You can also post a link to your own comic as well.

The first comic that comes to mind is Red Sky by Daniel Longman. This comic's story is an exciting ride. It has plenty of action and lots of twists and turns in the story. The art style somewhat resembles mixing traditional and digital art styles together. The shading also helps add depth to the comic's world. The next comic is Tale of a Hero by Peacuch. This comic has a light hearted and upbeat atmosphere. It's only in its first chapter but, there is alot of potential in this comic. The art style also matches the upbeat mood of the comic. The cover art for this comic emphasizes my point of the upbeat world this comic takes place in. I love the comic Scythe. The art style looks absolutely incredible and though it's early in the plot, I'm growing intrigued by what's happening so far. I'm also reading Akuma Sake and Gods. Something about Akuma Sake, probably the animals, just entertains the hell outta me. As far as Gods go, growing up an huge shonen manga fan, it reminds me of the comics that inspired me to make my own when I was smaller and I like it's story so far.

I'm just starting to dive into all the different comics Tapastic has to offer, so I have kind of limited knowledge, but here are a few that have jumped out at me so far, stylistically speaking.

• Dogstar reminds me of classic late 80's/early 90's cartoons, and it really looks a lot different than any other webcomic I've ever seen. Plus the author uses the same font as me so I'm kinda biased.

• I, Mummy is so great to look at. The author goes to such great lengths to make every aspect of it, from the art to the dialogue to the font fit into the comic's aesthetic.

• Finally, there's Black Mudpuppy, which is kind of cheating because I read it regularly before I found Tapastic, but it was nice to see a familiar face here and I think everyone should familiarize themselves with it. Very funny and well-told story, a perfect blend of adventure and comedy.

Looking forward to finding more gems!

Here are my two favorite ones.

1.) FaLLEN By Ogawa Burukku, I really enjoy reading it because the story is about a group of girls that have amnesia and don't even remember who they are or anything about themselves and they have to become guardians for the Mother Aeon in order to gain back their identities but there's just one problem, Mother Aeon is missing. The art is also beautifully done and for the most part is drawn traditionally and digitally colored. Fair warning the story does have nudity in it but for the most part it's censored.

2.) The Martyr's Rebellion By Ruriko-Sama, this story takes place in the afterlife where the Martyr of Purgatory ensures you go to heaven if you confess for your mercy and redemption. There is more to it but I fear if I say anything else I could possibly spoil it for potential readers so I'll just leave it at that. The art is also vary well done and the manga does even have certain parts that show a little color which I find to be vary interesting. Any of the illustrations that are in full color have a nice soft feel to them and the colors are vary vivid.

Joojee & Friends. Just discovered it and I like the style of the art with its soft, happy colors. It's formatted perfectly for vertical viewing. It's an easy read, and just really cute!

I also like DomestiCats. Another easy read that makes me feel happy ^^ I really like how you can just see the love for cats. The creator has obviously spent a lot of time observing and caring for them. Genuine love shining through a work is always great to see.

My comics are Life Can Be..., which are funny one-shot's, and The Underground, a serious fancomic based on a part of the world in Attack on Titan that the canonical manga/anime did not explore.

It's really hard to choose only two but here it goes:
Heil has a pretty interesting concept, and I really like comics which explores interesting and unusual topics, like nazysm, ybrids, religion and such. Nobis really put a lots of effort into the world building and also the art is very pretty! It's a long, story-driven comic but it's worth to read it!

Only Human is another interesting, sci-fi themed comic, about a future where there are no living humans, only robots, and one day they discover a little girl, who is alive and very human. I can't wait to see where the story goes!

I read the comic Scythe, it is definitely a good story and the writing style is quite unique and the art look fantastic. Also read your comic as well, it was definitely a fast paced story with plenty of action.

Some of my favorite comics include:
Juju's Diary- Absolutely gorgeous artwork. You'd think the daily life of a girl in NY would be kind of monotonous but somehow the subtlety and the beauty of everyday life leaks through. This comic is the probably the best vertical comic I know of and does an amazing job with repetition and time.

Fox & Willow- does a great job with traditional art. The story is very catching and very versatile. I feel like with its format it could continue on for a long time and yet somehow every adventure the characters go on flow and link to the previous.

Hominids- has very beautiful work and really cool ideas. The creator does a great job at keeping track of character's perspectives and diving into some interesting concepts. Though it's been up for quite sometime the art's pretty consistent throughout.

Demon's Mirror- Has really creative characters and a cool twist from the "Ice Queen" story. It's been up for a while and shows amazing improvement.

Chocolate with a bit of Pepper- Has a really touching storyplot. It wraps you in with all the character's misunderstood perspectives of eachother and makes you build up a lot of feels or anger for some of the characters.

Coffee Shop- Is a really touching story. The drama is just right and the characters really feel real. Art is pleasing to look at and the artist really focuses on the two main characters keeping the plot consistent and on target.

Trying Human- gorgeous artwork and amazing lineweights too. The story is catchy and despite there being a ton of characters none of them feel lacking and each are very interesting and likeable.

There's a ton of other comics I like aswell, but then I'd be rambling on for pages

Kletschmore because fantasy, great quirky humor, and great style!!

Outside the Box because it has a very clean style and reminds me somehow of good ol' cartoons I watched as a kid. No specific comparisons come to mind, but that's just the general feeling that I get from the comic. Also it's a mystery comic. I like mysteries.

Homeycomb -- i think this is my favorite non-story/short-form comic on Tapastic. Sweet and cute.

Hmmmm there is only one comic on tapastic I follow for the story and that is:

Star-avalanche I really like how the characters are written. They feel like the type of people you can hang-out with and a chill time! Also they are really likeable and humorous so that a bonus! It promises galactic adventures! but right it setting up the characters so and it good at it so why not try it out!

Confusion Is poetry that is often sad and melancholic but you can tell that it this person sincere emotions. It rather well written and there is meaning behind it!
