  • I hear many people use Patreon or Etsy thingy for their art? What is it?
  • Is there other way(s) to "use" your art so you don't waste anything?

I think you can also use your art as a coaster. Saves me money.

Dunno what you mean by waste, but you can make projects ranging from illustration series, comics, books, video, animation, merchandising, specially designed digital/physical products...

It's easy opening a Patreon or an Etsy store, what's difficult is what you do with it. You can rent a store space in the street, but that doesn't say anything about what you'll put inside to sell and whether or not you'll find your target customers.

I cry about mine and then I use it to dry my tears.

jkjk, I sell mine online and I vend at shows around town like comic con and stuff (finding the shows that will help you find your audience is sometimes a big trial and error thing. I'm still looking for my people after 4 years hahah)

I give the traditional/original version to my friends because I do not want to be reminded of its old days being uncolored. Besides that, my art looks ugly after a certain amount of time.
Then, there's posting on the bigger social medias but I've never considered selling my stuff. I like collecting digital drawings just to see improvement and maybe I'm not an artist so I can't do much with my art.

If you enjoyed drawing it it wasn't a waste. A hobby doesn't need to be functional or make money or be shown off to other people for it to be worthwhile.
