What topics/scenes/ characters are you uncomfortable drawing?

Anything that has to do with killing domesticated animals. I didn't draw anything like that and I can't imagine bringing myself to do this.

Another thing that's way to uncomfortable to me is sex scenes. I could go as far as setting the mood ant stuff, but I'd probably cut off long before getting to the "good stuff".

If plot demands any of those occur I apply the discretion shot rule. Some things are better left off scene and unseen

Scenes requiring complex perspective. Tilted horizon lines from top perspective, with characters in a tilted position (example, running) and everything else not aligned to any horizontal/vertical axis. Not to mention if it had curves. Not to mention if it's actually fish-eyes...AAAAAAAAAAAARGH nightmare. Yet these kind of scenes are everywhere in action-packed scenes and shonen manga

Uhhhh... probably what @Kann said earlier about the domestic animals and th' sex scenes. There are a few things that difficult for me to draw from a technical aspect (Mecha, cars, certain weapon, etc), but there a few things that generally are just... icky to draw for presumably anyone.

Death or abuse of pets, especially cats. I'd rather create a world without animals than having to draw them dying, although implied death could be ok depending on the context. Also,internal organs and dismemberment; if it's a technical anatomical drawing I'm fine, but not if it's for shock purposes.

Hardcore violence, gore(not just simple injuries and blood), violent or sexual abuse of anyone really, graphic depictions of death(I'm more of a discretion shot, seen from behind/partially obscured, or showing the body afterwards) are the BIG nos because I get genuinely uncomfortable reading that, let alone considering creating it myself. Might be needed someday, but those are the lines that'll take a lot of money to cross AND be in a respectable context.

As for fetishes, aside from the illegal and offensive stuff that most people wouldn't do anyway, probably unusual bodily fluids, certain things that aren't gore but are equally as disturbing that I won't name here.

Something I'm uncomfortable drawing... that I've drawn.. uh little story. There is one character in my comics that I kind of had to put in a bad scene and I felt bad for them while drawing it just earlier. And I was thinking... wow... I actually care about this character more than I think.

Other than that, I don't like ears. Just hate them.

I'm not particularly squeamish, but I have a hard time with rape/ non-consensual sex, torture scenes, and child death. I actually have a child death in my comic, but I don't know how I'm going to tackle it when I get there. I can't even WRITE the scene without crying. And I have two stories which involve rape. I absolutely refuse to draw it, so I have decided to only express the issues through prose writing.

I guess sexual assault or a lot of blood and gore. I think its more just its kinda hard to handle it without it becoming extremely edgy or poorly handled. I don't want my work to become some edgelord comic from the early 2000s.

I have referenced both in my work but keep it extremely subtle or implied, I feel thats much more disturbing and impactful to viewers where you have to think about what may have happened.

Well, so far in my comics I've covered war, sexual harassment, and suicide - and trying to keep it PG without sugarcoating it. So a lot of stuff that makes me uncomfortable with some added challenges. Sometimes I have to take time and think it over, talk it over with the collaborator, and take time to do whatever's needed to keep my spirits up and my blood pressure down.

Of course, when writing about a 17 year old Korean War prisoner of war, that meant taking time to hug my teenage kids tight and often.

Aside from porn, the one thing I find uncomfortable in drawing soon is the slaughter of unarmed people, which includes women, children, elders and child-bearers in the most gruesome way possible.

Realistic expressions. My style has a lot of anime/manga influence that leans shoujo, so expressions of horror, rage, shock, anything too intense I can't confidently draw. That's something I really want to grow into though

I would rather literally stab myself in the hand with a knife rather than draw, write, or imply an rape scene. Border line is an attempt to do one, but only with the condition that attempting character will be unsuccessful and gets appropriate karmic retribution shortly afterwards, preferably gruesome death or dismemberment.

Out of the non-obvious things though... Romance and romantic scenes. Will it look authentic? Are the characters relationships progress realistically? How can I tell, I have the knowledge of the stuff only out of romcoms and random romantic plotlines from the tv shows, and I don't even know which ones are good and which aren't. So many uncomfortable and insecure doubts makes me rather avoid the topic entirely. Let the shippers ship, canonical interactions will be strictly platonic.
*In the distance it can be faintly heard Thanos snapping half of the competitive value of my comic away, since if nearly damn everything HAS to have a romantic subplot, then it is clearly essential to the work's success *

I'm not too fond of action scenes and death or rape or porn. Mentally prepare yourself for stuff like this but you can't. So, idk.
