I can see why you love drawing backgrounds! I really like the aesthetic take on your comic and the animated lights!
Oh God ahahaha XD Good luck!!! <3 <3 <3
Hands, shadows, fabric folds, backgrounds, perspective, and background characters are all difficult for me to draw.
It's actually hard for me to not be a perfectionist with the lineart. If the lines are too vector-like (actually i don't know how to explain it) it doesn't look great anyway.like you know those artists that have messy lineart yet their art perfectly captures motion and character?God I wish that were me lol
While buildings and backgrounds in general are hard to me, my biggest issue is for sure not making everything extremely "rushed". My lineart is sketchy, coloring is out of place and shading doesn't really follow the "lineart" at all haha
I hear ya. It's like you've gotta stop yourself from turning your characters into the next cubic Picasso painting where they're basically geometric objects XDI love your style though! I was reading you work today and was hooked :3 huge fan right here~
We are a two people team, but I think both of us equally hate backgrounds haha, I hate anything that has to do with digital side of things (which for us is coloring and shading) so I try to make my writing partner take care of that hehe... But that's alright since I do all of the traditional stuff that he hates, so it evens out.
Thanks!! Haha I wish I could turn my art into Picasso paintings but if I spend too much time on them they look like coloring book pages
