People say it's like mix of manga/anime and cartoon. I don't know how to call it myself.

It's really cool to see everyone's different artstyle, it's really easy to forget the diversity when you just look at the front page's "average manhwa" style TwT. No hate to that style it's just it's so prevalent that it's easy to forget it's not the only one out there.

My artstyle is a big mix of stuff, mostly of more realistic end of manga, a lot of Tokyo ghoul in there, also the Arcane series because I work in digital painting.

I also think I've managed to improve over the last year's drawing :3

I generally describe my style as a mix between the expressiveness of anime and the angularity of 2010's western cartoons, such as Danny Phantom, Ben 10 or Samurai Jack.

In my webcomic INKIN, I have very expressive and loose style in terms of drawing and inking. I think adding monochromatic coloring to it, it really pops and is fun to produce and fits scifi mystery story really well.

My work is inspired by 2000 era printed western comics, and then more modern, digital art era webcomics I loved follow.

I'd say my style is a healthy mix of western cartoon, anime, and some semi realism. I'll add some examples.

I guess mine would be realistic (or at least trying to be) with deep, rich colours. When I do a comic adaptation of Wild Nights, Hot & Crazy Days I’ll likely switch to a simpler, more cartoonish style

I don't know how to describe it. The only thing I do is make my characters easy to identify and the backgrounds simple (unless is the most important thing in the panel of course)

About the use of color (The thing people highlight all the time) is because of LAZINESS haha! I did not want to do entire color palettes so I went for one color for each character and background. They're not chosen at random tho (the background's maybe but not the character's).

My artstyle is heavily influenced by Masaaki Yuasa (Tatami Galaxy, Devilaman Crybaby, Kaiba) and Haruko Ichikawa (Land of Lustrous). Yeah that's how it is.

I like to say my art style is kind of semi-realism. My shading style can alter with each page however as I am trying to experiment with keeping my style looking like MY style but making the rendering more simple and faster so pages don't take as long!
I tend to get inspired by other artists who really draw realistic looking characters but still keeping that comic appearance.

I love all these series! Also, folks say that my style resembles the early 2000s DC Comics tv shows, which is fitting, since the whole Paul Dini/Max Fleischer- style plays a huge influence in The Blue Fedora.

But, I've also had someone say that my style has the energy of The Simpsons or Futurama. Both big inspirations, but I can't really see it in my current style.

This is such a great thread @Garchompula. Discovering a lot of comics here, and it's cool to see how people have been inspired.

I create a comic called "Spray Bottle and Notebook," and I draw it in a simple black and white line art style inspired by newspaper comics. The characters (who are all based on inanimate objects) are basically expressionless, but I like that because it leaves things up to readers' imaginations. I'd also like to experiment with grayscale coloring/shading at some point.
