thanks for all the feedback on my little thread folks. while I am stuck with my comic annoyance ( coz cops and schoolgirls need uniforms) let me see if I can give a bit of help with yours.
@kurapikasuki the best advice i can give you is take a sketch book with you everywhere and practice sketching people on the move, you have little time to capture them so it speeds you up.
@AlkseeyaKC yes, I do have an idea how stressed it's making you, I broke my hand some years ago and could not do any art for three months, the result was it gave me very bad depression. the only thing I can suggest is sit down and make yourself a time table scheduling comic time . good luck.
@jacintawibowo the best way to get around this is making a rough plot of the floor plan for the building. think about the practical use for rooms being where they are, this gives you a better understanding of where doors/ windows are. I use poser to make my "sets" but I have to roughly work out where the rest of the house is off screen. it can be annoying but it can be fun.
@Riko, @Aetherwing I kind of have the same feeling about line art / inking I was once very good at this stuff but since i broke my hand my perfect lines are a little wobbly. I get by using digital rulers they are a very useful tool .
@ashriott duplicating background people on digital layers is a little trick you could use, also silhouette
@AngieVX, @TAMAnnoying, @noctuidae, @Cielle my advice is not to draw the objects but think more about the shapes that make up the object your drawing its a basic tip i know but one lots of people forget when faced with drawing something they don't like.
