I looooove eggplant! I just made ratatouille and the way the eggplant breaks down into a delicious olive oil infused goo is just chef's kiss

Ah yes! I pack my ratatouille with eggplants. I don't care if the amount I put is not traditional
Other veggies are just here to make the eggplant shine as far as I'm concerned

I will never say no to any noodle dish.

Instant noddles? Don't mind if I do.
Stirfried noodles? yes please.
Phở? That's a gimme
Ramen? 10/10

Just anything in that general direction will get my mouth watering :sip:.

It's called bakso, which is a meatball with stock soup! It's really warm and tasty, good for cold days. :smile_01:

I loooooove trying different foods... and my favourite changes based on mood, weather, and so-on. But something I am always up for is marinated pork belly.

I'm also a massive sweet-tooth, and will gleefully devour almost any type of cake, chocolate, caramel, just... anything sugary.

.

Truffle Chicken at the Bennelong restaurant, Sydney Opera House.
Without exaggeration, the most incredible meal I've ever had.

Mind you, at $160 per head (for the meal, not just the dish), it's not exactly cheap

Well, you can't pay with USD in Australia....
Seriously though, a year later, I'm still raving about it.

Vol-au-vent~ A French dish I've been eating since childhood ^^

2 years later

My fave food is Dhal Rice and Bhagee :fork_knife_plate:

A traditional food of Trinidad & Tobago (Caribbean) with East Indian origins
Dhal is the East Indian/Trinidadian name for Split Peas
It is melted into a soup like thing with East Indian spices added

Bhajee is the local name for Spinach
it is mixed with coconut cream into a thick green paste

Usually they add other mushy vegetables too in a paste like form similar to the Bhajee
Tomato, Eggplant (we call it Bhaigan) and
Curried meat (Duck, Goat, Chicken, Fish, Shrimp, Crab etc) to make up a full meal

Instead of rice, most people eat this meal with Roti - A thin soft floury Dough.
They tear the roti and dip it into the Bhaji and Dhal. (I don't like too much rice or flour tho)

And people here usually love hot pepper in this, Scorpion Pepper from T'dad supposed to be one of the hottest peppers out there
but I'm not a huge pepper fan bec I burn up easily lol :fire:

I don´t have one favorite food, it depends too much on my mood and I just love
a lot of stuff. I eat scrambled eggs for breakfast almost every day though.

Here are some things I don´t like:

-Bounty (coconut chocolate bar) and all other dessert which contain coconut.
I like coconut in other dishes but not with sweet stuff.
-Rice pudding or porridge
-Barley soup

I like onigiri. Tho I just like sticky white rice in general, if you have something nice paired with it, I will probably like it.

Least favorite is sausages. They don’t taste good and I get very ill when I eat them. Last time I accidentally ate one, was sick for almost a week.

One of my favorite fish food is can of tomato sardine. :tomato: :fish:
It's such a common food but I like its unique taste & texture.

I just love EGGS. Any kind, in any way.

I've eaten all kinds of eggs, aside from chicken: duck, goose (my favourite), quail and ostrich.
I'm missing turkey ones but I never found them around.

I also, uh...eaten chicken egg before it came out of its body. I know it sounds disgusting but it was just a fully boiled chicken, with most of its organs in.

Anyway plain fried eggs and potatoe tortillas are the best!
