It's a combo of all of them.
Patreon is a given. My patreon is looking rather sad right now due to changes and slowed update rate but that will all get back to normal rate and growth in october-november ish.
Normally I get a neat couple of hundred bucks a month off of ad revenue but that dropped recently. I do get a shitload of views but ad rev only gives me $1-2 a day right now anyways ): Tips are random amounts but it's mostly pocket money. Still good to have.
I have begun selling books via lulu. I have volume 1 of bloodroot available so far (I can technically make at least 3 more volumes out of the pages i've done thus far but it was a lot of work to put together so i'm waiting a while before launching the next) and made $100 off of sales so far this month.
Webtoons pledge program is a neat amount, but that could end anytime. Glad they extended it for now.
I also have a premium comic. Not gonna say exactly how much I make off of that but that along with patreon makes up my two most predictable income sources I'd say.
So basically I have been having my hands in many cookie jars to figure out which gives the most revenue for me. I've been running 5 webcomics simultaneously, offering tipping rewards, offered commissions, and been running NSFW illustration reward tiers on patreon. The last one was a good income source early this year when I earned less overall but now it's pretty crap compared to what I could earn if I put the hours into comics instead so I'm switching focus.
Also comics are a lot more fun.
