I don't care about views, it's an empty number.
Whatever, I just want people to read it.
It's a low-fantasy supernatural story in an original setting.
It has been almost a year old but its stats is abysmal compared to newer series, even when it used to be staff picked and showed on popular tab several times. Now, I think almost nobody reads it, people who used to read it stopped.
I don't know why? Is it bad? Well, it probably is and that's what I believe. People not enjoying your story means it's bad right? Good story will get all the praise automatically, so mine is bad. A writer without audience is not a writer, I would rather not write than becoming that useless.
Maybe if for a year (next month) I see the series as failed, I will have to scrap and remake it I admittedly like it too much to abandon it, but compared to another series it's doomed and I just want to save it.
I have pushed against my self-doubts, my harmful impulses, loneliness, and spare my time for nothing. I fought myself hesitating to publish a new chapter because I thought I need to write as I hope it will get better, it does not.
