What's Your Posting Schedule?

Like said in the title. A page a day? Page a week? A collection of pages a week? A chapter once a month?

Also, just curious, how long is your backlog, if you have one! XD

Since I create a comedy comic called Penciled, I do one strip a week so about a page a week I guess.
As for my buffer, it goes between 2 weeks and 0 weeks often.

I used to do two pages a week, 8 AM on Monday and Friday, but now I just post a page every Monday. ;_;
My backlog is currently nothing if you don't count scripts and page sketches, but hopefully I'll be able to build it back up soon with the time from only doing a page a week!

Right now I post one page of my comic Banquet per week on Sundays, one page of my other comic Bird Boy on Thursdays. I draw two Bird Boy pages a week in order to get it finished in time for my publisher, along with one Banquet page, but for now I prefer once a week updates since my buffer is still pretty small (about a months worth for each comic)

After I get my Bird Boy buffer in a good place I want to be able to update Banquet twice weekly (the pages are much faster to produce, but working two comics has its disadvantages!). I'm hoping to be able to make the move to two pages come fall, but we'll see!

Since my strip is gag-a-day style, I can get out 3 strips per week.
And I'm pretty much backlogged for the next 5 months or so, since I waited a long time to start posting after I started writing

Well, I draw Candace 'n' Company, which is a comic strip I hope to eventually get into newspapers. So I post once a day, which is rather demanding, but I've decided that if I want to do it for real I need to make sure I can handle it!

I do a page per week on Wednesdays, which seems to work best for me. I would like to move to 2 pages per week, because that's my current production rate, but I'd rather have a healthy buffer before I do that.

My current buffer is 3 pages.

I usually post 1 page for Sarota Springs on Tuesdays, 2 pages for Demon House on Wednesdays, and 1 page for Heavy Horns on Sundays.

I normally don't have a buffer, but somehow I've managed to get two pages ahead for Heavy Horns.

I post Life of an Aspie pages on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's. The longest buffer I ever had was about 9-12 pages which at three pages a week is pretty damn good by my estimate.

Twice a week: Tuesday and Friday. Though, technically Monday and Thursday nights, just before midnight EST.

I am able to comfortably do this because I have a masssive backlog of finished material (as of writing this, I have 121 finished pages, including that which has already been made public).

That and an uncomfortably obsessive work ethic.

1 page every 1-2 weeks on Saturdays. Would be every week had my buffer not been obliterated by a page I could do now in a much shorter time. ;_;

That said I'll probably change my posting day to Wednesday after my comic's current chapter, especially after hearing about how updates on weekends tend to attract less people than on weekdays.

Twice a week, with a break between chapters! I've had to make the break extra long this time due to work piling up lately; I've had an arm-injury that kept me from drawing regularly. It's better now, but I still have a ton of work to do, so I need to clear that out of the way before I start posting regularly again!

I used to have a buffer of 50+ pages! Now I think it's down to about 40. I like to be at least a whole chapter ahead of my readers; it gives me time to fix things like facial expressions (I have partial face-blindness that trips me up sometimes) and spell-check a whole chapter in one go.

im on hiatus right now and it was, truly. gonna go back with at least a chapter (22 pages) of backlog and do 2-4 pages a week. preferably four but probably two because i cant find enough time these days and dont wanna eat into my backlog too much.
