Let’s see, sailor moon for nostalgia reasons- but for animes I love enough to recommend to people...

I like fate Zero is really good (sorry everyone who likes bladeworks zero is just superior for me)

Ghost hunt is actually really good - love the ghost stories and how the character interactions go.

Outlaw star was my cowboy bebop which might have been why I could never get into cowboy bebop

Yu yu Hakasho is good (At least for the first season I only rewatch that one since I always loose the plot after that )

And obv OPM is like everyone’s fav cause it’s so good but that’s not a suprise

Mine are Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and Bungo Stray Dogs. I adore the plot and characters of both and have to rewatch at least once a years. It was a combo of watching these one after the other that helped me come up with my current wip, a 1950s crime fantasy

My favorite is Bleach. I like the characters, I watched all 366 episodes, the attacks are very cool, and I really like how strong they make the villains. It really made me feel like Ichigo had no chance, but then he worked really hard to get a new ability and he won. Plus, it was in a way that wasn't lazy, like Deku vs Overhaul. Deku is losing? Let's just make him use 100% of his power. I found it pretty lazy. I preferred Mirio vs Overhaul because Mirio was an absolute CHAD and it gave me Bleach vibes.

Honestly there's so many great series out there, but I have a big soft spot for
Natsume Yuujinchou (wholesome goodness) and Haikyuu (motivating, dorky goodness)

I feel like it's cliche to say Fullmetal Alchemist, but it's one of those series that really stuck with me over the years. The story, worldbuilding and characters were just so compelling and it always struck a good balance of super serious and light-hearted moments, and I can only dream of writing something that good someday. I was also really into like, InuYasha and later Naruto and Bleach back in the day, and they were certainly influential to me, but I fell off with all those series after awhile because they were just...too long.

The Digimon anime also holds a really special place in my heart and I get just as excited about it now as I did almost twenty years ago, and that series has always been hugely influential on my creative work.

Favorite currently airing series is probably My Hero Academia; it's been awhile since I found a series I genuinely enjoy that much. Pretty much every episode makes me smile.

So many of my favorites, but Aggretusko series is the only anime I felt the most joy watching it, and I found myself behave like a kid watching the show.

One of the few animes I prefer English dub more than sub.

The show is so relatable and realistic, and the characters are very likable (even Anai). The comedy and sad moments are so on point to me. I can't say it's my no1. anime but it is my most enjoyable.

I know its what everyone says but Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood has the best story arc in anime. And I have yet to see the characters be surpassed by anything.

My favorite is Fairy Tail because I love the display of friendship and comradery throughout the series. It has a few valuable lessons in there like teamwork is always better than going it alone, friends stick together, giving up is never the answer, and friends are just as important as family.

I would say Yu Yu Hakusho but since Shingeki no Kyojin came out, that has been my #1. The world building, the characters, the secrets. ugh. So good.

My Hero Academia. is my absolute favorite right now. the story line, the characters, the story line wow what's not to like about it. I would say more but its a lot lol

Code Geass is excellent because of Lelouch as it's driving force! I also like the Unlimited Hyoubu Kyousuke because of Hyoubu XD Love that morally gray MC with all the power apparently. They didn't inspire me to make Ring Spell buuut my MC may shift to reflect my love of that character type later on

I have a tattoo of Attack on Titan's Wings of Freedom, but this anime is tied as my #1 favorite with Tokyo Ghoul and Love Stage. I love anything with shock factors as well as fan service. I rarely admit that I like fan service stuff because these types of shows are made of so much online, so I just keep my mouth shut.

I used to say I enjoy Sword Art Online, but not anymore. I live in Japan and it's notoriously considered bad here. If you say you like SAO, people will tell you you're a 'bad anime fan.' Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? is fine, though.

Same! I really love Aggretsuko. Definitely up there as some of my favorite anime. I really like how the anime depicts how every character isn't really bad or good and the way it depicts relationships realistically.

Someone also noticed that the original Japanese voice acting is like the way actual people talk. It's really nice.

I'm really happy the series managed to get a 3rd season

For anime...
Gintama definitely. What a perfect adaptation of the manga, but also has its own identity. So well done.

I also really like Slayers. But. Nobody knows that series because it's an old 90s one lost to obscurity.

Soul Eater had a lot going for it, right up until they butchered the last half of it and went off book from the manga. I really hope it gets a reboot.

Ghost in the Shell. (All of them!)

Appleseed, Battle Angel Alita, Akira, and Mob Psycho 100 are all good runners up.

I adore One Piece, but the anime has lost its luster for me, so I stick with the manga only there.
