Currently, I'm using:
* DeviantArt2
* Instagram3
* Twitter2
I didn't get much luck with them. I mean, I have 200 followers on Instagram but I've been stuck and never get any new followers for months. Twitter is worse, I barely get any likes lol. I think most of my followers there are bots. DeviantArt new look is pretty nice but it's really hard to gain watchers there unless you post fan art. I got 40+ watchers because of my Undertale fan arts. I tried Tumblr and nope it didn't go anywhere. No likes at all. :')

hit me up on deviantart and I'll trade watches with you. let me know you're tapas fam :slight_smile:

getting followers is a deep topic, one that I have some theories on, but have not been able to achieve myself either.

I use twitter1 and instagram1 for variations and wips, (NSFW warning) Ello4 for digital arts that is mostly finished pieces, and Ko-Fi just sometimes for finished pieces and what not, though I forgot about it's existence sometimes.

I don't have much traction on Ello cause it is mostly a professional portfolio site and I just being active on twitter for like, three month (I think), so no much traffic either. My followers on instagram is mostly tapas creators lol. It has stayed quietly in the 50+ number for a long time now. I didn't really follow anyone so it is understandable. I have deviant art but I've abandoned the site for some time now.

I post it, here and get advice on how to draw things for my upcoming comic. I use threads a lot, though.

I use twitter, instagram1, and occasionally tumblr. I don't really like using social media tbh; it's more like an industry obligation (for me anyway).

I think fanarts will definitely help boost follower count a lot. Those established artists with 10k++ followers have been around for a long time, and/or have a very distinct voice whether in their art, what they provide, or in their "social media presence".

I'm not sure if it's easier to gain followers on twitter or instagram haha.

Now my "art" is only my comic or patreon related stuff.

So i post my comics on tapas and bonus content and early access on my patreon.

I stop with social media, i tried, and the conclusion i got for all the site i post is: that i'm not social and my art is not good enough for those places.

Aside from Tapas the only social media I'm currently active on is Twitter1, Instagram and Ko-fi1. I've made a DeviantArt but I haven't put the page to use just yet and I'm looking to give Medibang's ArtStreet5 a try.

So far I've done the best on Twitter but I figured it's cause it's where I'm most active either posting or interacting with other peoples content (likes, comments, rts, art shares or art challenges). The amount of likes/rts i get depends on what i'm posting though so sometimes fanart does better and other times original content does more numbers.

Instagram was okay but once I was posting less it did the inevitable with dying down. Fanart definitely seemed to do better but there were a few original characters from my webcomics who managed to do numbers every now and again. Algorithm changes also made things weird so it's been tough trying to get back in without knowing what's most effective (tips now seem to suggest a balance of consistent but not daily posting, liking and commenting on others posts, sharing to stories and reacting to/posting stories of your own and others)

My Ko-fi's main purpose is as a tip jar and I've done okay sharing comics wips there exclusively as well as process gifs. Offering stuff in return like sketches or wallpapers has done okay and I've got a few consistent supporters

I'm still debating how I intend to use DeviantArt but using it as a place to toss sketches does seem like a fun idea. Meanwhile I wanna use ArtStreet for some of their illustration contests or more experimental stuff that differs from my "usual" content or style.

I've considered other places like tumblr but I think I'd get confused or lost too easily :cry_01:

I mostly use DeviantArt, Instagram, and my Facebook page (all under AMCodaMonkey). I also have an Artbook I SOMEtimes update on Wattpad (AMCodaMonkey). I am also working on getting a personal webpage/blog up that will discuss whatever the hell I want and also show off my artwork and maybe have a little store front for comissions on logos or whatnot.

It may or may not have 'monkey' as part of it's url.
