Where is your story/comic set?

What kind of world do your characters live in?
Is it based on Earth or are they on a different planet? If so what's it called/like?

Do they travel in outer space, if so what's the solar system/galaxy called?

Are they just in a cartoon world or a god realm where the world is pretty much endless or abstract?

My comic Ragtime is set on a planet called Mozzle. It's a bit smaller then earth is and is in its own universe. It's a very advanced world with technology 100 of years ahead of ours. The leaders of Mozzle are the 5 governmental banks of each 5 continents. Also the whole planet is covered in smoke!

I'd love to know what our stories world's are like, also feel free to put likes to your stories so people can see more of your worlds!

It's set in the Viking 9 realms. The main locations on earth are Iceland, London and Scotland

Mine is a fantasy world inspired by a mix of ancient Vietnamese and Summerian, environment, myths and culture. It's a story about war and memories of different kingdoms, so I'm doing a lot of background world building

There are also spirits and ancestors. They're connected to the living through a "Realm of Memories," where people's memories are like interwoven threads which form a literal fabric of memory.

Modern day real world, but not in any particular country because I want to make the location look slightly unusual but not have to do any research Also, I don't know what country has anti-ligature features in their public bathrooms o_o

My story is a soft sci-fi set during current times.

We have characters based from Earth and others from a different planet, Shatazar. They call out to each other.

Our crew from Earth travels to this planet via a built wormhole.

Shatazar is hidden, but we have a gorgeous huge city with tech much greater than ours. The only kink is it's ruled by a despot expanding his kingdom.

We have a couple of romances that will bud once the crew arrives. Got spaceships, aliens, and a little bit of action.

I started off in black n white manga type style But by Chapter 7, I went to scroll down format in color. I'm still learning to draw these characters. So I hope you won't be put off.

My Story is set on this planet but several thousand years in the future. But it isn't futuristic nor distopian. How this happend is: a nation which is based in our future as a high tech soziety with all the gentech and space stuff, but then got destroyed in a huge worldwide war, that shattered humanity to its core, where most of the knowlege got lost. Then all the dystopian, survival stuff happens. And then comes stability again.

You can imagine this world as some kind of medival / industrial world but with a lot of modern advantages. They don't understand electricity but have those powerfull energy-rich stones from the past to power their machines. A lot of folks suffer or benefit from genetic engeneering from their ancestors and literally have trees producing medicine but they don't really understand it.

They have huge capitals but also alot of smal clans in the wildernes.

One of my main characters actually is a treasure hunter who explores old ruins of the past.

I just started to redraw my story so there isn't much to see from the world jet.

I can't deny your story and art! It's amazing and I've subbed without hesitation. Please keep up the good work and don't overwork yourself. I don't know how you do it...all those battle scenes with crowds and crowds of people. You are an excellent artist and I love your work.

Basically our world, but it ended in a humanity-destroying apocalypse. There are only a few people left, and a group of five survivors serve as our protagonists. It's cold and smoggy everywhere and everything smells bad, but you can find the remnants of humanity fairly easily, so that's kind of nice.

My comic is set in a forever to be unnamed dictatorship country on earth. Specifccly set in a town called Dark Woods. Because we only ever see the country in which it's set, not too much is known about what the other countries are like, accept that most of them at least are far more socially advanced and accepting of other people.

While there are no space adventures, there is a mysterious "world" known as The Dreamscape which the main character is occasionally transported, though I'm not going to go into too much detail as more about it will be revealed later on.

My story is taking place currently in Xelphara which is the Human Planet also known as the Human nation, but it expands into the other worlds which consists of Elf, Dragon, Fairy, Demons, Winglets (which are Angels) which consist of their own planet. However, because there is an Infection that is destroying not only the residence in each planet but the planet themselves are also decaying. Each nation is believing that the other nations are responsible for the unknown virus in attempt of eliminating the other nations and also have the impression that the other nations have the "Cure" to the virus but are not sharing with one another. Thus, unleashing a galactic war with each nation (Basically playing the Blame game!) With all this Mayhem, the land of each nation is dying out making it hard to live within those nations. Which is why, my main character Xepholen is reduced to commit crimes in order to survive in the wastelands

mine is set on our little blue marble a few hundred years in the furture after a severe apocolype upset our civilization ,and currently ruled over by a vicious tyrant, slowly killing the planet, it is a world crying out for heroes and those once made to be our destruction might be the only hope left

My story takes place in the real world / present day in a place that I made up in europe.
It´s a slice of life kind of story and it plays in apartments, work places, cafés/bars/restaurant.

My comic takes place in sort of modern times, maybe a little earlier like mid-2010s. It's sort of an AU, because my world has people with magical powers and immortals that live among humans. The location is a vaguely American town. If anyone asks if it's Tennessee, I will say "Sure, why not".

2100's, real world based.
Other than colonizing Space, the rest are based on real countries.

Colombia
Singapore
Bangladesh
The Philippines
and more

I try to utilize real geography, small culture bits, and local cuisine best I can.
And this isn't dystopian at all. I tried to imagine how it'd look without any kind of world-ending war or disease, but rather a pragmatic approach thinking that mankind would find some way to continue as we are today regardless of the big or small bumps along the way.

The world Descendants of Ether takes place in is called Chao. It is a diverse planet with many unique biomes with burgeoning populations to fill them.

There is limited space travel, but most travel is interdimensional.

Not sure what constitutes a god realm, but within the realm, there is currently only one planet and one moon. However, there are infinite timelines, and across these timelines the planet and moon change dramatically.

Mine is a multiverse nestled in the branches of an enormous tree, known as the World Oak. The tree is located in an endless empty void, and is extremely dangerous to travel, because to fall off it is to die or worse. Nobody knows what’s at the bottom, but the tree is infinite, rising and falling for eternity. The various worlds of the World Oak have technologies stretching from the sixteenth century all the way through to the nineteenth century, and it’s society is a mix of historic Britain and Ancient Greece.

My story set in a anthropomorphic fantasy world (planet?) with some semi-alien floras & faunas. It was told (not in main story) that there's civilized settings such as villages, towns, cities...

And there's massive wilderness all over the land where anthropomorphic people lives more like in the wildlife. The idea is originally like JRPG where bad guys may raid you in the wilderness, but you're safe in the settlements. XD

I don't do worldbuilding too much outside the scope of the story, only tells a more grounded story: MC lives in a remote village. There's only 2 major places the story was set on: the village and the tower (pagoda) my MC has to go to. There will be also outskirts between the 2 places, and also some future scenes where there's other places shown.
