I'm a 2. I'm just having fun making comics and entertaining some people as I do on the side. As much as I love art, my other plans for my life take precedence. smile

I'm kind of a weird one.

I do get paid for digital paintings and such, along side of university work.
But I also do Two Faced, which I got the first chapter self published.

But yes, in an ideal world I'd like 4

I probably was #1 but now im #3 (maybe working towards a #4 >:3 )

Somewhere between 2 and 3 I'm trying to produce as many comic pages at as I can per month as I can but am being weighed down by budget constraints. With any luck I can run into some benevolent supporters to help out with that : ) so far my writer for Mercenary Gu has be a big help ensuring at least one page of the comic is made each month (him and I pay the artist).
One day I want to make to the status of 4.

Semi-pro, I guess? I get a few jobs a year, and collaborate outside of my main thing. Also I wasted a bunch of money on an animation degree, so just humor me (crying)

learning hobbysit, but i would probably end up as a hobbyist heh..

I'm currently a 2 as a webcomic creator but 4 as a game developer. smiley Also, hello again, forums. (I haven't visited since the Tapas app overhaul, sorry T_T)

I'm #2, but I aspire to be #3. I work a part time job, have a wife, kid and house, and all of those responsibilities. While I am creating my series for fun (I mean, who doesn't?), I would really like for it to be published someday. But because I'm just starting, I'm years upon years away from the possibility of #3. #4 would be the ultimate dream, but I don't want to set the bar too high. Haha.

I'm so #2 that I'll change my name to Señor Dos and sign all my documents as 1+1.

3 and 4?

I'm a full time Illustrator/graphic designer. Silversong is my 'hobby' but its more of a second full time job booking comic cons, doing promo, creating pages. I would like to find a 'publisher' thou I'm not taling Image/DC/Dark horse, more digital focused companies.

I'd say I'm in between 1 and 2, because I just started making web comics and I'm still in school, but I already had some experience in drawing comic for myself

I'm a #1, but somehow I feel that, with my simplistic style, my comic might gain a sizable following someday.
Here it is if anyone's interested lol: Shut Up.1

Used to be #2 but I got tired of contract work, worked on projects year after year both in games and animation on different companies. I just feel drained working on other peoples ideas just to sell kids toys. So I'm gonna try it out on my own.

I'm a #4

I'm a hobbyist really. If I seeked making money off comics i'd be living in the gutters lol

Can I say that I'm both 1 and 2? I'm learning but I don't want this to be my life. I'm in school for mechanical engineering and I dabble in comic art, animation, and that kinda stuff, but I'm not sure I'd ever try to make a living out of it.

I'm a mix of 2 and 3. My current comic is something I'm doing purely as a hobby but with the intent of furthering my art skills for a more serious project I'd like to someday publish. I however, will probably get a job outside of comics- but in another form of art/creative industry.

I'm 2, I guess XD But I wouldn't say, it's "just a hobby". Okay, it's a hobby, but... it doesn't matter what kind of job and other things to do I have, this thing is me. smile I've been a graphic designer before, now I'm working in a factory, and what? XD My heart beats for my comics even if I'll never be a professional smile

So, ~~Apparently~~ I would be a 3, at least for Motsuro Project because I just like. I work really fucking hard on it and wish that one day it would "make it" but also I'm an freshman art student in college and is jst budding in this industry. lol. so gotta hustle.
