Like others here, I draw my comic, Betwixt1, to lo-fi hip hop. It's interesting enough to be worth listening to without distracting me too much. I'd recommend artists like Jinsang and Limes. They're pretty stellar folks <3

I usually listen to alternative indie music. When I'm not listening to music, I am listening to a podcast like the 'Joe Rogan Experience'

A lot of punk and metal.

Videogame OST's as well.

I tend to listen to music in other languages so I don't get as distracted. Lately it's been Rock en español or German musicals. Depends on what I'm drawing at the time lol

when writing i tend to listen to quieter, more instrumental stuff. good film score is great for writing.

but when drawing i love hip hop, rap, and podcasts - wordy stuff. the word processing part of my brain is freed up, so i can fully engage it with wordy music. hip hop also tends to be quite energetic, which is useful while drawing.

Hard to say since I like almost all genres out there. I mainly like to listen to VG music soundtracks while I work.

I have a really weird taste, it goes from remix video games music to slow jams, to anime intro music to ratchet music, then some soft jazz XD

11 months later

Wagakki Band to get into the zone

Nanobii, Yunomi, Snail's House, Tomggg, and others like them to wind down, or when it's casual

I usually just play whatever I have on my playlist (which have reached 600 odds something and still counting) when I drew, since it's going to ended up as a background music that I did?t been pay attention to when o got serious. But if I want 90% serious about drawing or writing, I will need turn it off (90% since I'm easily distracted and like to running away from my works so much...).

Hm, some people are influenced by the music they listen to. I am not. I do not draw what I listen to half the time. (As in half the time, my music genre SERIOUSLY doesn't match....the other half does though.)

I listen to a lot of Metalcore, Rapcore, and Nu Metal....and proceed to draw people being adorable and pastel colored. shrug I don't get it either.

I've been listening to a lot of weeb shit while drawing recently... (read as vocaloid songs and anime op/eds)

But usually I'll listen to electro swing or alt rock or something like that.

Showtunes. Currently, Hamilton.
If I get tired of that, Youtube covers.
