Oh yeah, I've definitely had a lot of evolution in my art style. It's been a mix of getting better in some areas, putting in more effort in others, and finding the right tools and shortcuts to help with my weak areas.

Early on I was doing this kinda half-hearted airbrush shading, because I just don't really enjoy shading, but I ended up committing to spending more time on it to get a better result. I also did some studies to get better ideas of how to draw my characters' hair and clothing, and got better about not having the faces look kinda wonky (I'm faceblind and that's always an area where I end up messing up easily).

So here's some panels from back in 2019:

And here's the same characters in 2021, with all the improvements I was talking about:

But Raul is still the master of harebrained schemes, that aspect stayed consistent. :stuck_out_tongue:

Amazing!!! Your work is inspriting! I see how much love you put into it. The background has so much detail than when you first started!

Thanks for sharing.

Holy moly. Your art changd so much! So much detail in the environment and good color choices! Great job glad your art has evolved with time

I'm already subbed to you. It's interesting how much you've changed from your first photo. Great work

My comic Uber Upgrades has gone through a major improvement in the art and the jump in quality in season 2 will be bigger than the last one.

This image is promo art for season 2.

Yeah, I have located different points on my comic where there was an explosion of improvement xD
I show here an example from the faces of two characters, Cory and Jael, from chapter 1 and 2, compared to chapter 17 (I am currently drawing number 20).
I have also updated the body proportions and linework, but if you read the comic you don't notice nothing of that, because its a gradual increase of the quality. Now, of course this didn't happen just because I drawed a lot. Besides that, I was checking some tutorials and info on body muscles, proportions, faces, etc, so this is not just repeating once and over again the same technique. I have been adding things to my work.
Who knows how will I draw at the end of my series!

been changing in leaps and bounds ,and changing mediums i use, even somethign as small as the paper i use has had massive changes to my art

Here is one of the first pages ever, drawn sometime in 2017, I reckon.

And now, here's the same birb and dragon, in 2020...! Time flies, folk.

I am planning to remake the older pages when I got time, because I fear it might drive away some potential readers, but for now I focus on the new ones

My older pages look like bobbleheads.
Seriously.

My art was changed from my 1st comic to the new comic, am so experimental, so I experiments Alot..
I can't fit in one place and still trying to improve but I draw on my phone (difficult to me), and hoping to people like my art 🤞

For myself, while it hasn't been too long I still am seeing slight improvements on just overall character designs
and just keeping the art looking a tad cleaner in general.

Here's how Era looked in chapter 1:

and this is how she looks currently (Image from a upcoming chapter):

Hey there!

Oh it was long and bumpy road for us:

Yup, they're the same Veriesin! Here's the link, I also leave it on my forum profile to make it easy to find if I forget the link (like this time : P)

I'd like to think I'm improving! I'm getting better and more comfortable with action shots at least. And drawing backgrounds LOL.
I've definitely learned a lot more on comics theory and actual comic-making traditions, such as how different culture use panel layout, which I find really useful in designing my own layouts.

Here's from chapter 1, back in 2019:

And here's from my most recent update:

Stylewise I'm currently limiting myself to just one shade of gray. And I'm using some limited color to show that magic is used. Also I've gotten way more comfortable with using the black for shading! That was something I though looked so cool, and I wanted it in my comic so badly. I'm glad to see myself coming closer and closer to the style I want this comic to be in

I started drawing with very little experience with drawing boys. Like for this Webtoon I started drawing boys for the first time in my life XD Now I like it the most. Also I'm more comfortable with backgrounds.

I also do a relaunch last year, bc I hated my drawing that much. so the old image isn’t online anymore
