been changing in leaps and bounds ,and changing mediums i use, even somethign as small as the paper i use has had massive changes to my art

Here is one of the first pages ever, drawn sometime in 2017, I reckon.

And now, here's the same birb and dragon, in 2020...! Time flies, folk.

I am planning to remake the older pages when I got time, because I fear it might drive away some potential readers, but for now I focus on the new ones

My older pages look like bobbleheads.
Seriously.

My art was changed from my 1st comic to the new comic, am so experimental, so I experiments Alot..
I can't fit in one place and still trying to improve but I draw on my phone (difficult to me), and hoping to people like my art 🤞

For myself, while it hasn't been too long I still am seeing slight improvements on just overall character designs
and just keeping the art looking a tad cleaner in general.

Here's how Era looked in chapter 1:

and this is how she looks currently (Image from a upcoming chapter):

Hey there!

Oh it was long and bumpy road for us:

Yup, they're the same Veriesin! Here's the link, I also leave it on my forum profile to make it easy to find if I forget the link (like this time : P)

I'd like to think I'm improving! I'm getting better and more comfortable with action shots at least. And drawing backgrounds LOL.
I've definitely learned a lot more on comics theory and actual comic-making traditions, such as how different culture use panel layout, which I find really useful in designing my own layouts.

Here's from chapter 1, back in 2019:

And here's from my most recent update:

Stylewise I'm currently limiting myself to just one shade of gray. And I'm using some limited color to show that magic is used. Also I've gotten way more comfortable with using the black for shading! That was something I though looked so cool, and I wanted it in my comic so badly. I'm glad to see myself coming closer and closer to the style I want this comic to be in

I started drawing with very little experience with drawing boys. Like for this Webtoon I started drawing boys for the first time in my life XD Now I like it the most. Also I'm more comfortable with backgrounds.

I also do a relaunch last year, bc I hated my drawing that much. so the old image isn’t online anymore

Hooooo boy, this has been a tough one. I'm trying to adopt the attitude of Sisyphus- smiling while rolling that boulder up the hill. It's a journey, but it really has been really worthwhile.

I started my book a few years ago but only recently started posting it as a weekly web comic (so seeing my old art as if its "current art" is a bit painful at times). However, I am very excited that in a few months, the comic will look vastly improved (and I'm excited to keep at it and keep pushing my boundaries. I have so much to learn).

It's really inspiring when I see so many of your journeys laid out like this (or if I've been lucky enough to witness the gradual changes over time). In particular, it has been a real joy to watch @migxmeg's work bloom over the past year. Your work ethic and grace have been such a force for good around here and you have been hugely inspiring to me personally.

@DanielRKM I love the proportional changes you made. They still have the same style but there's a wider variety of expressions.

When I was working on exit_success. I didn't (still don't) really understand webcomics as a form so there was a big shift between Pg1 vs Pg3. Not really influenced by timespan as much as experimental.

Thanks! And I loved seeing the experimentation in your work. It's great see that comic work juxtaposed to your still life work. You have a wide swath of talent to pull from to make your images.
