for me it's Rang.

It's difficult trying to draw her dreads in a way that flow naturally but also not covering her face during action scenes (when they're not tied up). I also have a very particular image of a face for her that I can't really get consistently right. The image above is my best drawing of her, but it's a cover. When I have to draw her faster for the panels, it's hit or miss.

This absolute biatch. I'm super proud of her as a monster design, but I hate drawing ALL THOSE DAMN MOUTHS.

@pjuieng Looks intimidating, wouldn't want to see that in my nightmares.

@river121693 Hair motion is difficult, especially with scenes with dynamic movement.

@Lonker Drawing all the wrappings of the mummy can be tedious.

Ironically, is the most simple character design, Larry.

you see larry is all spheres, which makes him very easy to sketch.

but when lineart comes to scene...

I have to make vector circles and then use masks to make him perfectly round.

I guess is not exactly "hard" but out of every character, he's the most tedious to make so far.

So far my comic has only had 4 characters pop up one of which is just some guy who’s not important. None of the main characters are very hard for me to draw though. August is probably the hardest I suppose. Getting his proportions right is sometimes difficult, but I draw him so often it’s not really a problem now.
A Character that I actually do struggle to draw (that is mine, but not in comic) is this guy :sob:

Ok it’s a silly pic, but when I actually draw his whole body getting proportions/perspective right is pain. He’s just such a big guy idk what to do with him lol 🥲 not to mention he also has a sword + scabbard which give me struggle 🥺

Wow, how have I not added to this thread?

I'd say it varies, depends solely on who/what I've been practicing (been drawing chickens, now I struggle to draw humans a little bit)

But right now, I'm having trouble drawing Gallus, who wasn't always difficult, even having more colors than the rest. It's his eyes!

His eyes don't look bad here, but it's technically off model

Too far up, lol!

This is more what they're supposed to look like:

Nit-picky issue, but it really bugs me cause I'm drawing this clucker in like 60+ panels (that's a guess, but it's a lot) And I refuse to use a model sheet bc I feel like I should know my characters by heart (forever amateur, lol!). But ever since I learned to draw, I always struggled with proportions, even when I have the model drawn, so idk. What matters is the story...even if my characters look like willy wonky in most panels...
