I love my recreation centre, and go almost every day. Over the years, as I grew older and injuries happened, I had to lighten the workouts toward what I can do rather than train. Weightlifting had always been my favourite, but my excersise tolerance is crap now, so I have worked out the perfect schedule of skating, swimming, lifting and elliptical for my long winter break, only for the gyms to shut down where I live due to COVID till January 11th.
So, I am back to the basement and hating it, because of the zero motivation at home. Like, the moment I walk in the gym, it lifts my mood... at home, it’s so bloody boring and pointless. I am a bit depressed atm about it,
If only we had snow at least, so I could go ski in the neighbourhood....
But nope, also no dice. At least it got a bit warmer, so we could go for a walk yesterday, but stupid COVID bloody closures are bloody stupid.
