Who’s your favorite character to write/draw?

Me personally, my favorite is the first one I made. He’s also one of the love interests in my book! I just find him so nice to write and draw! (Since I write but also draw on the side)

With the current series I am working on, mine has to be Tian. He one of my personal faves for a long time
Now fun to work on in the webcomic as I get to mess around with expressions being that he wears his mask so it's hard to tell. I focus on his eyes and body posture more to hopefully give an indication on how he's feeling.

I really love drawing my version of Erik the Phantom of the Opera. All of his emotions are hidden by a full-face mask. But I managed to make them visible.

I'll take this as two different questions, so I'll give two answers.

My favorite to write was Revel (Gerardo Cópernik), despite him being a minor antagonist. He was fun to write because of his tendency to talk verbosely. With every other character I have to retrain myself or simplify the dialogue to make it sound more natural, but with him I can add even more. I try to add as much words as possible for each basic idea he tries to convey!

My favorite to draw is a seemingly minor character, Casimiro Lopez (The Pirate). He's very easy to draw no matter what perspective I draw him in, without seeming too basic of a design in comparison to other characters. His design is actually more complex than the main character's!!

My favorite character to write is hard to nail down lol. I really enjoy all of them, but if we just mean the way they speak in and of itself, my favorite characters to write in "Damsel in the Red Dress" are Mrs. Moon and Melissa Xochitl. Mrs. Moon is just so glamorous, and Melissa is crazy, but in a cute fun way.

In "Hushabye Prince" my favorite character to write is Diva Lang, but because she hasn't debuted yet, I'm also a big fan of Hallie and Madeline (yes I'll list them as one character, because they are basically the same person in two bodies)

My absolute favorites to write haven’t shown up yet, but I’ll just say that it’s because I like writing exaggeratedly campy evil people.
And as for favorites to draw, it’s Hugo and kid. I made them the main characters mostly cause of how fun they are to draw, and I want to do it more than the other characters. Except Hugo’s hair, I dread the day I’ll have to draw his hair from the front

He's a complex villain for reasons that haven't been fully revealed yet, but it's really fun to write.

Definitely Mr. Blueberry, maybe obvious since he's appeared in most of my series.

He was a character I created back when I was a teenager and developed over the years. He's a caring father while also being very rough around the edges.

In his earlier version he looked more like a mummy because he was embarrassed about his skin condition. But at one point I decided to remove the bandages and give him a bit more confidence. Then at some point I made him bisexual...I don't remember when or why.

Tho sometimes I am worried about overusing him in my current comic due to him being an older character (age wise) and I don't know if that would appeal to younger readers.

Ah, I’ve got a character similiar to Melissa so I totally get it! Mrs Moon sounds like a fun character to write honestly, too.

@AmysGames Oh, the villain! I totally get that too, sometimes the villain just swoops in and captures your heart. He’s got a nice design too

@NickRowler Maybe he became bi when the bandages came off? It wouldn’t sound far fetched

Have too many faves honestly,
awesome old drawing, the way he's reaching out to viewer his calm face and gives me the feeling of either foreshadowing of time related complexeties ahead or he's far more complicated than we initially assume he is (with all the cool abstract stuff behind him),

Evan one of the MCs (two brothers) from my series is one, enjoy his playful and reckless optimistic personality he has a tendency to quickly adapt to a situation. And his his solid manipulation ability is fun unusual, gross and wacky. He makes various melee weapons from his spit.

3 versions (3d as seen in comic, chibbi for a chibbi collab and 2d from his concept art)

But judging by what day it is today, this has become an instant favourite, saw it when i took a 5 minuite nap earlier, feel free to brighten it if the details arent clear
