Col. Sawyer's children will appear in a few brief scenes in Tiger on the Storm. His two youngest, Kenny and Daniel, are by far the cutest and most naïve.
As for Days in a Life: 9-11 and the Aftermath, my kids feature rather prominently. They were two years old and two months old at the beginning of the story.

Strangely, in my series, one of my main characters is named Smalls. He's incredibly naive and optimistic. Even if his friends are dying around him, he still has a smile on his face.
Probably the title character of Calamity Jane, honestly! That's a little half her point; be optimistic, upbeat, and generally kinda cute, and then have something kinda bad happen to her.

Garden Variety's cutest and most naive character is a cactus girl named Nopal Opuntia. She values faith and family, and her dream is to marry and become a mother some day. She's a direct contrast to the story's logical, cynical, and/or adventurous characters.
I'm not good at drawing cute or charming character and he doesn't meant to look good anyways... But I'm sure he looks pretty harmless.
