Why everyone likes your story: Tell me why!

Feeling demotivated and a little down? Hype yourself up and tell me about the part of your story people really seem to like! Even if they told you in the comments or elsewhere, why do you think people resonate with it so much?
Also, what was your favorite part to write? Is it the same as what people like so much?

If you see someone talk about their story and you like it, feel free to gush to them about it.

A lot of people love my prologue. They tell me how poetic it is and how well it's written. It honestly was, and is, the hardest part for me to write . I wanted to have a strong start and I'm happy so many people seem to pick up on everything that I was trying to convey.

Not a specific scene, but all the one liners and quips Aderran gives get good feedback.I love writing them and they make me laugh as I edit. I'm one of those people who will crack a joke at any given time so big self insert right there. My favorite part to write would be between Aderran telling Sonta "I love you too" because it shows that no more what, love is a universal language. I also loved "friend time" between Maeren and Aderran because we got to see Maeren in a different light and it sets up future drama

No need to link your story, you're literally telling us about specific parts so elaborate well enough about your story without "making" people see what you're talking about on their own. If you want to check out a story, find the link in their bio or PM them.

well, for mine...
I'm not sure.... I get a lot of mixed signals. some like the female mc a lot because she's tough and strong. Soms dislike her for that...
Most like the male MC for what I know. He's darker and has basic flaws that people can relate to, I think

I don't know, I rarely get comments, so I am not sure what people like about it.

I think some people find my stuff funny or trippy, so I don't know outside of that.

Anyhow, I'm really thrilled that a lot of people like the characters and my descriptions. It was really nice to get positive feedback on things I didn't see as strong elements of the story like how the fantasy elements are depicted and such.

As for my favorite scene to write there isn’t a specific moment, but a type of scene. I like writing the tough, emotional scenes- not to make the readers cry but so they can understand exactly what my characters are going through. So far, I'm really delighted to say that people are picking up on those parts and reacting the way I had hoped to important emotional scenes.

Idk exactly, my readers comment on different aspects of my writing! Some think my descriptions and writing in general is really good, others like certain Characters and others really like some quotes of my MCs because they can be unexpectedly snarky and funny whenever I'm writing their banter. I also have this one commenter who is just absolutely vibing with my story and commenting on every chapter and that's really nice.

I just wrote a dramatic scene with my main characters that I'm really proud of, but I can't spoil yet, because of major plot points. All I will say is that Simon is absolutely devastated and translating that into a flow of words was super satisfying.

I like Rajini! But I'm always for strong female leads. To expound on that, I like that she knows what she wants and isn't too stubborn (from what I read so far). She does have a softer and vulnerable side that you let some through in your writing

Not that I'm feeling particularly discouraged or anything, but I put in my two cents:

What people like about my stories I've noticed tends to fall under the short, comedic gags with dark undertones in specific episodes. Ideally, id like my universe of comics to be light-hearted, but with a strong sense of mature themes to it. It's like most people have forgotten about the darker/grittier aspects of my comics and more closely follow episodes without a plot to it and laughs, but I guess I can't complain too much about it.

I get very sad. I have a scene towards the end of the book that hurt my soul and I had to stop writing for a week.

I've gotten a few reviews from people and the majority of them were mostly positive. The similar points people tend to bring up is that they enjoy the fact that every character has a very distinct personality and goals that make them feel more genuine, that the dialogue sounds like what real people would actually say (minus the mutant stuff), that the drawings feel fluid and very expressive, and that the main character is refreshingly human for being a villain. I was glad about the last part especially because when I originally started writing my comic back in 2015, I wrote her to be way more edgy, which seems to be the usual among young teen writers. I worked really hard to refresh her character and make her more understandable, less of an edgy ass, and more of just a bratty but well meaning teen. It's nice to know the hard work paid off!

People seem to really like the artwork. They think thr artstyle is consistent and unique, brighly colored bu not garnish and charming. They like the character designs alot, especially for the goddesses in my comic. And my readers also enjoy the dynamic between my three main characters.

I think they enjoy these parts of my comic because of the feeling of nostalgia it gives. And there's a genuineness I hope shines through in the designs and characters. It's charming and warm-feeling without being too serious.
