Sorry I ended up taking a nap between working on editing.
So with the mentioned pages this is part of the confusion that I ran into between 6-10 of chapter 1. On page 6 it's clearly established that the characters are in a car and that with a passage of time they make it to school established by the hallway with lockers. Problem is it's also established that the characters are walking and thus moving in the hallway between 7-8 I think, with Oliver being established on being on Royals left side, as far as I can tell they are moving or are still in a hallway. On page 9 we have a skirt lifting scene and based on how the joke is made Paris has to be moving in order for Royal to accidentally latch on to her skirt for the joke to work, because there's no background and it's established that there's movement I can't tell if they are still actively moving or if they were actually standing the whole time, but Royal turns around to talk to Oliver, but looks to his right side further establishing movement has happened, and because the background only establishes lockers with two hallways but it makes me wonder if he just ran back? And because the walls of the hallway are completely different from the new location (I'm assuming main entrance) I'm not entirely sure how or when Oliver got there. Like I said, it just feels sudden, and just a subtle Oliver looking away while Royals goofing around would have helped with, oh he just kind of ran off on his own.
It's only something I would look into really, but for me, if it's dialogue and there's no established movement, backgrounds not important (standing in the hallway having a conversation with no urgency, but based on the story by this point, it's established the characters have classes to get to). But if people are going somewhere a background does help with understanding the environment they are in. Hope this helps with future chapters to think about.
