From your cover the one that catches more my attention is the one from "Stars of butterfly"

What are your first impressions?

It seems like its gonna be a heartwarming story

What do you like about the book cover?

I like the composition, the colors and the way the hair of the girl is stylized.

It makes me feel like it's gonna be about some impossible love. They want to be together but circumstances get in the way.

Not sure if I would buy it since I'm not that much into romance stories, but I like it enough to pick up the book and check it out.

I'm reviewing Stars of Butterfly cover

-It's a really good cover, art is gorgeous
-I suppose its of some kind of medieval fantasy genre maybe?? Ofc romance is there, but with a lot of thorns in the road for the main couple.
-I would buy it for a friend, they love romance books so haha
-Book cover is compelling so i would flip through it, if I like it then i'd buy it.

My favourite cover however would be Song in the sunset, An angel's Mission

Personally out of all your covers, the one I would read is stars of butterfly, because I can see the character chemistry as tender and loving. That cover also has a strong focal point in their faces which draws me in. Though I would critique the title. 1) grammar starts of butterfly, feels clunky. I would just make sure i would add the correct articles, stars of the butterfly, feels much better to read. 2) your type disappears and I feel that there wasn't much room considered for it and it looks posted on top of the illustration. And, the by line is so hard to see, unless you are looking for it. Embrace your text, it is just as much of an element to the cover as the illustration itself.

I have been rethinking of making the a new cover, but i would still like your thoughts mine.

Doing @Nossumy cover.

My first impression is the interesting "feel" of it. The style makes it look like a children's cartoon show, but the atmosphere makes it look deadly serious, so I'm sure what to expect of it.

I like how it reminds of Peep & the Big Wide World and Monty on the Run. (No that's not a joke)

I guessing the story is about a chicken who has to runaway from... something.

I'm guessing it's suppose to be like a crime-drama, because it gives me the feel of a criminal packing up and leaving.

I would not buy it because I don't buy anything, or atleast, very very little.

I probably wouldn't read it, but It certain is intriguing and has caught my attention.

It feels really clean. My eyes are drawn to the red. Shells and ghastly faces? Odd combo.

The logo, colour palette and grid lines in the background gives it this clean look which I think is cool.

keeps my eyes firmly away from your description I assume the guy in the front is protecting someone (probably the red girl in the back) from something called 'The Shell', which maybe manifests as ghastly faces but also has something to do with literal shells?

I don't really look for stuff to read these days unless it's a series similar to something I'm writing which I'm looking in to for research. If I saw your cover while searching up terms that relate to stuff I'm writing, I'd most likely end up checking it out, but in a book store or the Tapas front page or something? Probably not (but that applies to almost everything).

• What I like about the book cover Honestly, this is the type of book cover that makes me just click on the story; it's really my style! I love the simple feeling and the font really suits the cover.

This looks like it could be a cover for one of Yoru Sumino’s books.

What do I like about it?

I like the simplicity and the basic coloring. I also like the font.

Guess what the story is about.

This one is hard. It looks like it may be a love story, and obviously it takes place in winter.

Genre?

Romance, I’d say. Possibly slice of life.

If you saw the cover in a store, would you buy it?

I don’t buy based on covers alone, but I’d definitely pick it up and see what it’s about.

Will you read based on the cover?

Again, I’ll at least see what it’s about if I like the cover (which I do).

Which cover is your favorite?

This one. The others are nice, but lack the same simplicity. I have a difficult time distinguishing colors, so the simplicity is easy for me to look at. The font on “Music in the Stars” is a little hard to read at first glance, and the font in “Stars of Butterfly” doesn’t stand out as much as I’d like (though this is my second favorite, as far as looks). The picture in “Song In The Sunset” is blurry (though that may be my visual sensory sensitivities talking), though I like the font in that one.

What are your first impressions?
The colors read well and make it stand out, and it's got a good sense of theme, but I think it would help if the character was large, if the chains were hand drawn to match the rest of the art, and if 'hero' and 'free' were in a font and all caps. I do like the different color and size though

What do you like about the book cover?
I like the main character design! It manages to stand out without being too complicated, and it's a good expression/pose. I like the colors as well.

The long title and mention of a hero make me think light novel with meta elements. So... a hero is let go of some responsibility or destiny, but is still trapped by some other group or emotional baggage?

"Music in The Stars" is what catches my eye. It seems to be about (ofc) music but also maybe about two lovers that are star-crossed or who have fate against them? The background sky in the cover is really nice and it seems to be romance. I don't buy books at all or read anything besides fantasy, so I guess I wouldn't buy it or read it, but someone who likes the romantic genre would probably buy it.
