Working on an "Object Head" Character Design

Trying to get my characters together for one of my webcomics. I wanted to use an interdimensional being that has an "object head" but I don't know which design I should use. I originally wanted to use a Rubix Cube for the head but I feel that I would have trouble drawing it for a comic strip so I figure I should use a simpler shape. But I didn't want to use a triangle design without begin accused of ripping off Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls.

So here are the designs I had, they'll probably change later on, I was just trying to get the basic idea of what I wanted to use (I like Choice A but I wanted to see what other people think) :

the rubix cube idea sounds interesting, not that hard to draw just basic really if to sketch to vanishing points.

It's hard to pick without knowing exactly what you're going for, but I like A, B, and C all better than D. They're all good though imo

C especially brings to mind the Illuminati.

The traditional comic wisdom is that circular character designs imply energy, characters who are very emotional, active, and expressive. (Elmer Fudd, all of the Peanuts kids, Mickey Mouse) Triangles imply powerful, maybe unmatched, unchecked, or dangerous power. (Godzilla, Pyramid Head, that wolf in a zuit suit from the Tex Avery cartoon) A square is literary like the slang use of the word, rigid and constrained. To me, a diamond is a square disguised as a triangle. What traits about this character are you trying to portray?

The character I had in mind is a being who is in charge of one of those government organizations that helps deal with paranormal/supernatural problems. They tend to be very easy going, friendly, and open minded but can get serious when the situation needs to be. Also they like breaking the fourth wall by talking to the readers which is a good way for me to introduce characters and/or explain certain things in my comic.
